This nice RV Park close to downtown Carlsbad; very convenient to access Carlsbad. Gravel parking spaces, but nice grass in between sites. Each site has a picnic table, some have trees, and the whole park is fenced.

There is a fenced pond with ducks!

There is no designated dog park, but there was an area that we walked our dog and no one seemed to mind.

Typically this park is full of oil field workers, but with the downturn in the economy, there were plenty of spaces this time.

There is a bathhouse, and laundry facility, although we did not use either one.

We recently purchased a two-zone pass to Thousand Trails. We didn't know what to expect, but had read some comments regarding the area.

This campground is far out from most towns and the city of San Antonio. Because we are in a 40 Ft motorhome, we are careful about routing to remote areas. Our Co-Pilot app directed us on a sketchy road, but after we stayed a few days we found better ways in and out of the area.

Apparently the Lake had really suffered from the drought and economic downturn of the area in the late 2000's, but is beginning to come back. We found a spot with an open area, not covered with trees. Most sites are tight into the trees, and back-in.

The road through the campground isn't in great shape, and you must be careful to drive slow.

The Campground is full of deer, who are not particularly afraid of humans, and get fed corn regularly by the visitors. They were numerous in our campsite every morning and evening.

There is no internet service from the campground. However, we were able to work with our Verizon coverage while there.

There are a couple of restaurants and a small grocery store in the nearby town of Lakehills, but for most things you need to drive to San Antonio.

We were looking for a short stay in Albuquerque while visiting family. This Park is mostly a Mobile Home Park, but still has quite a few RV Sites spread throughout the Park. This is the cleanest, most well kept, mobile home park we've ever stayed in. There was a laundry facility very near our spot, and the staff were very polite and helpful. We had a gravel spot, with picnic table and a small tree. The entire Park streets are paved, and there is an outdoor pool available for use (we didn't use, as it had not opened for the summer).

We stayed in our motorhome, a back-in spot with enough room to park the Jeep. Access to the Park is on a one-way frontage road, so you need to learn the cross streets to get back around to the entrance once you leave.

Noise from the Interstate was tolerable. This is a good place to stay if you are just looking for close to downtown Albuquerque.

This Park is in downtown Cortez, very convenient to the entire town. It is about 10 miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park.

The Park is covered mostly with mature trees, but a few spots are clear for satellite service. Sites are gravel, but some spaces also have grass pads. Picnic tables, but no concrete patio. There is a laundry facility and Cable TV is included in the rate.

There is WiFi, basic not high speed, but consistent.

Arriving at Sea Breeze RV Park can be challenging, as most GPS programs (e.g. Google Maps, phone apps) try to take you down a road that ISN'T the RV Park! However, the Park has put a sign at the road intersection to warn against going down the wrong road.

Located across the bay from Corpus Christi, Portland is a small community but has most standard grocery stores and small shops. For any real shopping or restaurants, you must go over to Corpus Christi.

The check-in process is easy and straightforward. The staff is friendly, but there is a fair amount of paperwork and rules to go over. There is a nice walking track and dog run area around a lagoon, and our site had a great view of the Nueces Bay.

The sites are gravel with grass in between, and sites are very close together. Most sites have a palm tree and a picnic table. Most are back-in sites, very few are pull-through.

This Park serves primarily Winter Texans, and most of the sites are permanent or semi-permanent for winter. There are areas for temporary stays, such as ours, but most folks stay here a long while. The community is very friendly and encourages gatherings and events.

There is an outdoor pool, hot tub, community room, laundry and guests are allowed to use the community kitchen area to cook if necessary. There is internet available throughout the park, but it isn't very fast. They were clear about that when we checked in, so we were not surprised by this.

If you visit the area, do take the tour of the USS Lexington, in the bay at Corpus Christi - very interesting! The Texas State Aquarium is also a great visit!

We stayed at Sea Breeze in a 40 ft motorhome.

We stayed at Pecan Park for two weeks in January 2017. The Park is just outside San Marcos, Texas, and is large and established. There are sections of the Park with large trees, and other sites that are without tree coverage. The Park sits next to the San Marcos River, and experienced flooding two times in 2016, so there are currently repairs going on down by the river.

The staff seems friendly and helpful, but are strict about their rules. This Park hosts a lot of Winter Texans, who stay for a few or many months at a time. However, there are still lots of people coming and going each day.

Our site was close to the office and on the main entrance to one section of the park. The site wasn't completely level (they are all gravel), but we were able to manage to get things fairly level. We stayed in a 40-ft motorhome. Around the gravel parking space, each unit has some grass, and most have picnic tables.

The facility has a small but newer laundry, and indoor pool and hot tub (we did not use them), and an Activities Director for various events throughout each month. Staff patrol the park and keep it clean and trimmed.

There are 2 fenced dog parks, and otherwise dogs must be on leashes.

San Marcos has many great places to eat and probably one of the biggest outlet malls I have ever seen.

We stayed at Monument for one month, as we have family and friends in the area. The park is very convenient from I-70 in Fruita. The park is medium-sized, all gravel sites. The roads are paved, and there is a smallish dog park. The Park is well maintained, and staff is helpful.

This Park has many seasonal or full-time residents, but they keep their sites tidy. There is a small pool (closed for the season) and an outdoor hot tub (open year-round).

Monument is very close to the Colorado National Monument, local grocery, and several restaurants. We will stay there again on our next trip.

This is a large, multi-sized site RV Park. There are lots of long sites for pull-through, also tent spots and camping cabins.

We stayed for one month, and had a nice site with small patch of grass and patio, as well as a tree for shade. We were at the back of the park, so much less traffic than up front. No problem with loud neighbors, or loud music.

Rental includes free wifi and cable. Wifi actually wasn't bad most of the time, only late evenings it was bogged down, but during the day it worked well.

Nice outdoor pool, friendly staff, and the Park is well-kept. Maintenance folks are always working on areas of the Park, and there is a large covered group picnic area where they have live music on Saturday nights.

Access is tight if you are trying to come in from the Interstate - not the Park's fault, just have to make a more than 90 degree turn from the busy intersection.

Very close to grocery shopping, restaurants and some general shopping. Not as much shopping as the other end of the Grand Junction area, but close to the wineries of Palisade Colorado, and peach orchards.

San Angelo State Park is very close to the city of San Angelo, but it doesn't feel that way. There is a lake at the Park, and 40 camping spots with water and electric hookups. Most sites have a covered picnic table and fire ring. Sites are gravel, and not a lot of trees.

We did not use any bath facilities, but they are available. There is no Park internet, but we did have Verizon coverage while there.

There are two entrances, and we did what I assume a lot of people do, and turned into the wrong entrance. However, the Park Ranger came right out to our rig and gave us a map to the next entrance, where the camping spots are.

If you visit in San Angelo, be sure to see the Fort Concho Historic site, where actual buildings still stand from the 1860's.

Heise Hot Springs RV Park is about 6 miles off the Highway 26, and about 25 miles from Idaho Springs Idaho. This is a destination Park, billed as a Hot Springs getaway. There is a Hot Springs pool that is open to the public and very popular on the weekends, as is the Park.

The RV Park is actually 3 different areas, scattered about 1/4 mile apart. There are 'seasonal' sites close to the Office, Pizza place and hot springs. These RV sites are occupied by mostly full-timers that come for the entire summer. The other 2 sections are further away, and across the road from the main area.

The RV Park sits right on the Snake River and there are parts of the area that are beautiful. Near the hot springs area, there are picnic tables and large trees that provide a picturesque setting for a lunch or fishing afternoon.

There is a small 9-hole golf course, a pizza place that makes decent pizza and the hot springs. In addition, there is a Zipline that traverses the ridge above the remote sections of the campground.

The sites are grass and gravel, and surprisingly further apart than many Parks. During the week, there were never more than 6 occupants of our section, except for the weekends. Locals from Idaho starting arriving on Thursday night and by Friday night the entire 40 spots were filled. Then on Sunday, everyone left and we were back to just a few.

The park is well maintained and pleasant to stay. We stayed in a motorhome.
