Great coffee, service and expanded menu...food is very good and they don’t scrimp. Coffee is arguably the best in town, indeed on the entire Kenai Peninsula. Mornings between 7-8 are especially rewarding on the nose as this is when they roast inside the dining area and the smells are roll-your-eyes-to-the-back-of-your-head wonderful!
Easy access on/off I-80, easy to spot from interstate. Pilot station 1/4 mile away going to/from park. Clean crushed rock sites, several shade trees but many without shade. Easy pull through with plenty of room to navigate. Facilities are modern and very clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Older park, grass sites shade trees but not on each site. Tent site area is park-like setting, very clean. WiFi at outer boundary is spotty inside. Staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities are tired but kept up well enough for the price. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again while traveling I-80.
