I suspect that the cemetery has more people buried in it than people in the town. I couldn't find any graves that really stood out.

This is a small failing town with small weather beaten homes. It's a fun road trip down winding country roads. You'll sense the melancholy of being so far out in the middle of nowhere. The people are friendly but cautious with a low tolerance for a-holes. Deer and turkeys outnumber the people. I enjoyed the brief time I spent there taking pictures and video.

It's a long way to travel to see a brass placard at the post office's single wide trailer BUT the joy is in the journey. You'll travel on a lot of winding hillside roads without guardrails. Deer are everywhere. There's a sensation of loss and loneliness and pluckiness in this small failing town. It's quiet after dark and worth the journey if you have a taste for wandering in your soul.

This place is awesome for the middle of nowhere in darksky country. I parked my car here for the night and soaked in the hot spring until way late in the evening. If you are into UFOs I saw three of them while floating on my back. They were just pinpoints of light moving around in different directions, but they were there. The lady working in the office was very nice.

The town this place is located in is fascinating. This hotel is indeed closed but you can push your forehead against the glass. If you end up out here, get some gas, look around, and then push on. https://www.youtube.com/@artsyfartsy7036/videos
Kids would love this place. Imagine swaying bridges and platforms waaaaay up in the trees to hhike around on. It's a lot of fun.https://www.youtube.com/@artsyfartsy7036/videos
This is a fun pitstop with a gift store and trees with platforms in them to hike around on straight out of an ewok village. https://www.youtube.com/@artsyfartsy7036/videos
Meh. It was okay. It's certainly a bucket list item but in the end its fairly far away. Maybe going to the ceremony at night is the best way to see the event...........https://www.youtube.com/@artsyfartsy7036/videos
