No frills, but clean and level gravel sites with full hookups. Close to the freeway but not too close. Arrived after hours so did not have bathroom code. Pull-thru site was long enough to leave 32' fifth wheel hooked on to truck. Easy overnight for a trip up I-5. Nice sunset view, frog sounds at night, and birds in the morning!

We love this park. We’ve been coming here for 20 years. Easy access off of US 101, but no road noise.

The park sits in a forested setting with a few pull-through and plenty of well-laid out back-in sites. Indoor pool & hot tub (currently closed due to COVID-19, but normally a nice way to warm up in winter), several clean restrooms with showers, small playground & basketball hoop, propane, gas, and diesel on-site, and a small camp store with laundry & game room.

Sidewalks lead from the park under 101 to the main drag in picturesque Cannon Beach, and easy beach access (a 15 minute walk from our campsite).

All sites are paved and full hookup with cable TV, 50 amp service, picnic table, grill grate, and water & sewer. Cell service (AT&T) is spotty (1 intermittent bar), as it is on much of the Oregon coast. Wi-fi was hit and miss — usually working, but briefly cutting out intermittently. It’s certainly not robust. Working from the park wasn’t an option, but browsing & e-mail worked most of the time.

A herd of elk even grazed on the grass one afternoon! Friendly staff and a quiet park. One of our favorites!

Booked our stay in advance via phone - no online booking capability, which was fine. Easy in and out just off of I-5. $54 with our Good Sam discount.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, spacious sites (it seemed that all the overnighters each got two side-by-side full hookup paved sites).

The sites are tidy but basic - pull-through, concrete, FHU, no picnic table. While the site wasn't long enough for us to stay in without unhooking, we were able to pull diagonally through our two allotted sites and stay without unhooking.

Wi-fi supported Netflix streaming and cable reception was good. Bathroom and shower were clean. Rear portion of the park has long-termers but seemed well-maintained.

Several fast-food and coffee options right across the street.

We'd stay again for an overnighter.

This park was a pleasant surprise. Tucked between I-5 and the Sacramento River just south of Redding, this well-maintained park offered spacious, pull-through riverfront sites with picnic tables and full hookups.

Bathroom facilities were spacious and clean. A large grassy area with picnic tables separated the riverfront sites from the river. Plenty of birds in the area for birders and non-birders to keep an eye on; we even saw a Wild Turkey on the riverfront.

We booked our one-night stay online in advance ($66 including taxes and fees). The booking system allows campers to select a type of site but not an exact site. No big deal.

On our arrival date, we got a text from the park with our site number, bathroom door codes, and wifi password. Upon arrival, we stopped at the office and the gentleman they said that we were all set - no paperwork needed.

The park is a large gravel area, and each site has its own grassy area with picnic table. Sites were tidy and long enough for us to keep our 31-foot fifth wheel hooked on to our truck.

We didn't use the sewer drain, but our site had one as well as 30/50 amp service and fresh water.

The park had quite a few long-termers, but those sites were tidy and quiet. The bathroom facility was clean and well-lit.

Despite the freeway being fairly close and a truck stop just down the road, the park was really quiet. We'd definitely stay here again for an overnighter along I-5!

Full hookup site (50 amp, cable, water, sewer) with a wide concrete pad that gave us plenty of room for our 31’ fifth wheel, truck, (their) picnic table, and (our) firepit and chairs.

Not all sites are oceanfront - be sure to check the park map when reserving. The park sits on US 101, but most sites are down the hill from the road and the ocean drowns out what little road noise there is on this fairly remote stretch of 101.

Grass lawn separates the back of the sites from the beach - maybe 50 feet from the stairs down to the sand.

Clubhouse facilities were closed due to COVID-19, but we knew that going in.

Great sunset view from our site!

While the park is in a fairly remote stretch of the Oregon coast, Florence isn’t too far south and Yachats is a short drive north. Plenty of state parks and walkable beaches to explore in both directions.

This was a splurge for us, but the oceanfront sites are well worth it!

Excellent campground on the banks of the Columbia River. Many sites have good river views. Sites are large with picnic tables. Full hook ups. 30/50 amp service. Lots of grass. Very clean restrooms. Short walk to the swimming beach and marina. Trail goes all the way to Irrigon! Some road noise from the freeway and some train noise but not too loud. Allows tents on gravel only. We will definitely stay there again.

We have been coming to Toll Bridge Park for about 20 years. While the park itself is fine, the riverfront sites are what keep bringing us back. The sound of the rushing water is great — and it drowns out what little campground noise there might otherwise be.

All sites in the park are first come, first served, making it tricky to land one of the handful of riverfront sites. The park’s website does show the overall percentage of sites occupied, and it appears to be fairly accurate and updated at least daily.

Checkout time is noon, so we arrived at about 11:30 on a Sunday morning, hoping to catch some weekenders pulling out of a riverfront site, and did just that.

The park is forested, and sites are of widely varying lengths. RV sites have partial hookups (water, 30A electrical, no sewer). There is a free dump station in Hood River at the water treatment plant, but none in the park.

Our site (63) was a bit below the road, so it was a bit tricky to back our 30’ fifth wheel into without the underside of the front of the trailer hitting the truck. We managed, and it appears that most other sites are more level.

There’s one bathroom building in the campground area. It’s small and basic, but with hot (okay, warm) coin-operated showers — bring quarters! There’s another in the park’s nice playground/ picnic area (not close to much of the campground). The bathrooms are clean and functional (soap, paper towels, TP,, cold running water) but not what we’d call nice.

For us, the riverside sites are the reason to be here, but the park’s proximity to Parkdale, Hood River, and Mt. Hood are great as well. All in all, it’s a quiet, forested, simple little park in a nice location.

Outdoor Resort Palm Springs is by far the nicest place we have ever camped. It is truly a resort experience. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately cared for. 27 holes of golf, all par 3 but still challenging. 1200 lots in the resort, all privately owned. Many owners rent their lots when they are not in town.

It is truly a resort, with eight pools, pickleball, courts, tennis courts, a gym, two clubhouses, bars, a restaurant, and on and on. There are also loads of activities available that anyone can participate in. There is a daily resort fee for non-owners. Laundry facilities are available on site in several locations. People at the resort are extremely friendly.

We have been coming to this place for more than 12 years. We love the resort. A friend came down to visit, and he loved it so much that -- although he has never even camped in a trailer before -- he bought a lot with an RV on it after visiting for just three days. It's an amazing vacation spot!

Lots at the extreme north end of the park get a bit of road noise, but the rest of the park is really quiet.

This park is relatively new: 20 sites, all with full hook-ups and 50/30/20 amp service. Each site has a picnic table, and the park has a new, clean, 24-hour coin-op laundry with a change machine. Sites are spacious -- ample room for our 31' fifth wheel and pickup truck, which we parked in front of the picnic table. Trash dumpsters, excellent wi-fi, and a dump station rounded out the park's amenities.

18 of the sites are back-in and 2 are pull-through. All sites are gravel. Easy in / out to the park and to all sites.

Note: this park does NOT have restroom facilities, so is not suited for tent camping.

Stayed here in October, 2022. At that point, online reservations weren't available. We made our reservation by phone and were told that the site number would be given to us at check-in. Friendly hosts, who are offsite, missed our check-in call, so we chose an empty site.

They came over to say hello shortly thereafter and were responsive via text during our stay.

The park has several long-term campers -- contract workers for nearby projects -- and was quiet except for a bit of truck noise on the adjacent US Highway 287/385 and an occasional train. We'd recommend selecting a site on the west side of the park to get a bit farther away from the highway and a bit closer to the nice sunset views.

While this certainly isn't a destination park, we'd stay here again if we returned to the Springfield area.
