We hiked the Upper Yosemite Falls trail. We stopped at the base of the upper falls, right when the trail turned away from the falls and goes to the top of the upper trail. My 18 year old went to the top and said the trail gets very narrow in places towards the top and the best view is really at the base of the upper Fall.

We saw people not truly prepared for this hike. Take water... lots of water, and a snack. Flip flops would not be appropriate footwear for this very rocky, uneven climb of a trail. The trail zigzags, then kinda straightens out a little, then zigzags some more. Know that when you get to the spring that comes out the mountain, you are more than half way there and to just keep going. It really is magical.

We followed up by throwing our tubes in the river in the valley and floating down. It was a great way to end the day.

Of the 750 miles of hiking trails in Yosemite National Park, the 7.6-mile trek to Yosemite Falls is a favorite, where you’ll hear the roaring crash of Yosemite Creek plunging 2,425-feet, long before reaching the photo-worthy site.

We think this hike is one of the best things to do in California!

This was just beautiful! Laid on a rock at the bottom and relaxing while staring at the beautiful fall! My husband climbed up those rocks and had fun challenging his self

Beautiful scenery went later part of May wasn’t very crowded. But commercial to a flaw, signs for Visitor Center are few, buy a ticket for scuttle. I use a cain everybody tells you go through the store it’s down the hill 300-400 yard. Funny the government require Handicap accessible except them. The Visitor Center was closed for the Day lack power funny all the shops had it. Asked 3 Park employee about how to get there not knew it was closed.
