Delta Lake is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U.S. state of Wyoming. Delta Lake is situated in Glacier Gulch and is fed rock flour (glacial silt) from the Teton Glacier, which turns the water turquoise in appearance.
We did the trail up to Delta lake. It is about 9 miles return trip (15km). It took us about 5-6 hours to complete it. It is a hard trail which is going up all the way to Delta lake with very steep inclines at the end and some rock climbings. The trail is an unmaintained trail (for the part going up to the lake).
The view is breathtaking and the hike is really worth it but it is not an easy one.
