Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 25, 2021We had a very nice stay here for two nights at Green Creek Inn & RV Park. We can in right before 10 pm. The owner was smiling and said, "You must be Paul."
We were exhausted after driving for 12 hours so didn't even hook up until the next morning. The rigs park on gravel and face each other in pairs so you don't have your "Own space" I took off a star for that.
The trees were mature so there was some shade from them. Lovely grass area in the back with some chairs which made for a nice evening of wine and cheese.
Some road noise, but very little.
The laundry room was spotless. We didn't see the shower area. The place has been transformed since the previous reviewer's stay a year ago.
At the back and above on the hill is the abandoned Smith Mansion which is an amazing structure that looks part home/part pagoda/part oil derrick. Very cool structure from an obsessive builder.
Good AT&T and T-Mobile coverage.
The location is nice if you want to spend some time in Cody and also go into Yellowstone Park via the East Entrance.

Gorgeous setting close to Yellowstone. Bit of road noise but not late at night, sites are close together but worth it. Paid off season rate on 49 plus tax.

After reading reviews on YELP I was worried this place would be terrible, but most of the bad reviews were old and about the rooms. We stayed in our Travel Trailer and apparently the angry old man isn’t there anymore. The good part was that we called a week before our stay and we actually got a spot, almost impossible from what I’ve heard about the Yellowstone area. That’s the only good news. I’ll start with the disgusting bathroom/showers. They were GROSS!! The sign says they are closed for cleaning everyday, THEY ARE NOT CLEANED EVERY DAY!! The same trash was on the floor, water everywhere, mold, globs of hair, footprints in the shower, overflowing trash can, and no toilet paper, every day. The smell of mold and the humidity in there was sickening. The laundry room wasn’t any better. The dumpster for trash was full when we got there, dumped the next day, and filled up almost immediately. It was overflowing when we left after being full for two days. Cell service is not good but that’s not their fault. I didn’t try their WIFI because I never log into hotel, store, restaurant, etc. WIFI. I can go on and on, but just go on YELP and you can read more. Location was good for us, it was between Cody and Yellowstone and that worked out fine.
