Location
This lodge, named after president Ulysses S. Grant who signed the law which established Yellowstone as the world's first national park, was completed in 1984. Southern most lodging in the park just south of West Thumb on the shores of Lake Yellowstone, approximately 20 miles from Old Faithful and is the nearest location to Grand Teton National Park.

Attractively furnished motel style rooms with 1 or 2 beds. All rooms have private bathrooms equipped with shower or tub/shower, toilet and sink. All park accommodations are non-smoking and, reflecting the natural surrounding of Yellowstone, televisions, radios, airconditioning, and internet hook-ups are NOT available.
Restaurant
In the Village, there are 2 restaurants with Lake views. One full menu and the other one specializing in pizza and pasta. There is also a small lounge and a gift store.
