Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on August 27, 2023This is literally a gravel parking lot with hook ups. You are on top of other rvs, no grass, no space, no picnic tables, no nothing- so bad we left and went up the road another 20 miles to a different rv park
We camped here with our passport america discount to visit the Grand Canyon. It was perfect for what we were looking for, full hook-ups with sewer at each site. The park is under new management who is making great improvements to the facility. We were in the back row where all the new hookups were renovated. Talked with the new owner and mentioned the only issue we had was the highway noise, they are going to install a hedge to help mitigate the noise level. Overall, great experience and had a great view of July 4th fireworks!!

Noob here; was disappointed only because when I first looked at this site on Campendium it said the price was $19. Our one night visit ended up costing double that.
Marge was very nice and attentive, site is clean but nothing special. Convenient location off the highway to get back on the road tomorrow; and the ground is fairly level. No convenient grass for doggie business though.
Campsite was stated to only have 20&30 amp hookups, but they do have 50 as well, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Stayed one night on the way home to TX from CA. Called ahead from the road and attendant was very efficient and took the booking quickly and texted receipt promptly.
Very easy access off the 40 and when we arrived the attendant came out and personally (via golf cart) directed us to our spot. I have never received that much attention as she even showed me the 30 amp connection in the electrical pedestal and where the water connection was. Very VIP treatment.
Sites are all gravel and level.
Electrical and water hookups all appear to have been recently updated. However the water was frozen solid in the morning but what else would you expect being it was only 11 degrees.
Some noise regularly heard from the 40 being it is so close.
Also appears there is new bathrooms and showers under construction.

Pros: The people (Max and Kaylyn) were so kind and friendly. Great Mexican food restaurant near the office. FUll hookups and cable. Propane sold. Convenient to Walmart and Safeway. Right off highway. Within an hour from Petrified Forest and Painted Desert. Cons: "Take It Easy" isn't on the sign out front. Mostly full timers, literally right off the interstate, felt weird "Taking it Easy" in our camp chairs in the dirt parking lot. We planned 3 days here but really only needed one night. Perfect place to overnight.

Rate is with PA discount. I called and asked for a pull-thru. I always say our length plus car. Response was “they are all pull-thrus”. Great I thought. We had no internet where I called from so I could not see an overhead view. The spaces are parallel rows with not really enough room for the MH alone. Car had to be parked seperately. Not what I want for a travel day. The best part is the utilities are not where they should be. My neighbors sewer connection is at my front door. If I had slides I would have to turn sideways to walk between the rigs. Lots of residents. It is convenient but I did not care for the vibe. Would not stay again. Cannot speak to any facilities

Very good overnight stop. Easy to access and very friendly staff. Was told it was an old drive in theater being converted. No showers right now, awaiting tile install but do have bathrooms. Yes it is a little tight but fine for my 30’. Walking distance to a Denny’s and Flying J. This would be a “do again” when passing through in the future.

This used to be a drive in theater and the spaces are right on top of each other, like a drive in theater only with full hookups.
There is no place to sit outside and there is nothing to look at if you could.
Mostly people who live full time, and the entire place should ONLY be full time people.
The people across from us fought all afternoon, yelling and screaming.
They need to grade the lot and put in tons of gravel, the ruts were so bad from previous people getting stuck when it rained.
We had reserved on line, it is a Passbook America.
But it shouldn't be.
I'm sorry, it's not even worth the $20 a night.

We stayed here October 23. Rate reflects Passport America discount. We had planned to stay at the Visitor Center in Winslow, but it was empty and looked a bit sketchy. It was one of those times we would have felt more comfortable if someone else were around. Then we went out to McHood to check that out and it was pretty busy with weekenders. So, we called Take it Easy RV park which is beside/under I-40. The manager was really nice and helpful, but it is a dirt parking lot with quite a few down and out looking long termers and no facilities other than the full hookup site. We could deal with all that but our little Airstream vibrated all night long from the noise of I-40. Neither of us really slept. Also, where we were parked we couldn't stay hitched. We had to detach the truck and move it an aisle away from the Airstream. That made us a bit uncomfortable and took away a bit of the advantage of staying close to I-40 and a quick escape. There were other pull through sites though not available to we last minute folks so someone more planful might have better luck with that.
It's also a bit confusing on how to enter the park. The road frontage appears to be a defunct gas station and another building with a Mexican restaurant. You need to drive by those to the entrance road. I said we wouldn't stay here again, but in a pinch, we probably would if other options were exhausted.
