Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on October 20, 2020The campground is nice and quiet. Quite hilly backroads to get there and in the park itself. We camped here in a 39ft fifth wheel with no problems.
Most sites in Ridge Campground are tight and close together but there are a few good ones there. Ridge Campground is in the woods and more private than the other campground. The other campground Asher Campground is closer to the lake and has more spaced out sites although they are not very private because of the lack of trees.
The bathroom and shower facilities are a bit old but were pretty clean. There are frost free water spickets throughout the park and a dump station located in both of the two campgrounds. Contrary to what this app says the sites have 30,50 and 20 amp service.
Overall it was a nice place to stay. It is very quiet at night and the stars are amazing!
We had both Verizon and AT&T cell service. The Verizon was used as a hotspot for work and school with no problems.

No campsite signage as you enter Asher Loop to suggest which way to go but both sides connect at lake. No water at sites do fill up before you come or at threaded spigots throughout. We loved our site but Verizon in this loop was little to none. We need it for remote work so we moved to the Ridge Loop which was better. Very quiet.

We moved here from Asher for better Verizon as we work from rig. More shady sites, fairly easy to maneuver our 40’ 5er on roads and site. Many sites a little unlevel. Verizon is spotty and best around sites 26 and 18 and at entrance. Sites are $3 cheaper here in the Ridge Loop and some have 50amp. Water spigots are threaded and spread out in both camp Loops. No access to lake from sites in this loop. Trees are thicker but well trimmed. Very quiet.

Coming into the park there is a big hill. There are more big hills in the campgrounds. Make sure you have a truck that can handle hills. We stayed here for 2 weeks in site 12. Very quiet and not many campers here at this time. We are in Ridge Campground and the site we have was level and long enough for our 38 foot 5th wheel. We filled up with water to last us 2 weeks (we have 100 gallons). The shower house and flush toilet restrooms were still open. I talked to a maintenance person and he said they will be winterizing the Ridge Campground restrooms because they don't have heat in them. This is a very nice campground with most sites with 50 AMPS. It is a honor system pay and you deposit your envelope in the "iron ranger" at the front of Ridge Campground. The Asher Campground which was down by the lake was closed. The Verizon signal here is decent. I would stay here again. It is the best camping in the late fall with it not being so hot!

Nice spacious sites with electric, table and fire ring. Water was spigot near us and was threaded for hose. Bathrooms and showers on the hill were the cleanest I’ve ever seen! Campground was not even half full. Beautiful view of the lake and we had geese and goslings visit our site. Would love to come back when it’s warmer and get in the lake.
