It is the largest timber frame structure in the world, full of world-class exhibits designed to answer your questions about the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.
Awesome stop to remind you that religious ignorance and the blatant disregard for science and reality is alive and well in the US. A must see!
GreAt experiance! Bring a backpack for water and snacks!! :) So beautiful!
This is fun! We went on a Sunday and it was low key! I have six kids 2-16 all of them enjoyed it. We didn’t read half of the info but hit many high points I believe will still stick. Short movies on each deck are worth watching. Kids were pleased with the trip. Older kids said they didn’t have any clue how cool it was going to be, so all were happy. We took our whole family, parents, siblings, and cousins. It was worth every dollar.
Very awesome! We only went to the ark, and not the museum. But the ark alone is very cool, and we spent probably 3 hours looking around inside. They have a couple of short videos (about 25 minutes long) that you can watch, there are cool robotics inside, lots of simulations, plenty of bathrooms (on all 3 floors), snacks available on all floors, disability scooters and strollers are available to rent, and you get to each level via ramps, so it's very easy for everyone to get around. Definitely would recommend it!!
Way over priced for what it is. Cost 10 dollars to get OUT of the parking lot. Most info is based off of “artistic liberties”. I saw 4 other visitors under the age of 70.
Never tried to envision the true size of the Ark. Wow! It was also an interesting museum. I loved the geological exhibit to support the great flood vs slow erosion. There is still a lot of expansion, as it's been open only a month. The price is a bit steep, but if you spend a good chunk of your day there and go to all the exhibits - plus if you consider the faith formation along the way - you can justify the cost.
Wow! This was so much more impressive than I heard and read about! It took us about 2.5 hours to go through the Ark structure (as well as the gift shop). There are bathrooms, little snack areas, and seating for breaks as you go through the Ark. Manageable crowds on a winter day. Some on-campus restaurants and other park activities were closed given the winter season. But we came for the main attraction: The Ark. And it did not disappoint!
We loved it!! It's beautifully constructed and everything is so well thought out. Very comprehensive. It is pretty busy though so I had to take pictures of a lot of the signs so I could read them later. It is expensive though $40 per adult, $28 per child 5 & up and you have to pay $10 parking. They have a buffet restaurant right outside the ark with lots and lots to eat at decent price! Lots of space for seating on two levels. I also thought the gift shop was very reasonably priced!
The facebook page says the address is: 1 Ark Encounter Drive
Our family just got back from the Ark Encounter and we loved it! Very overwhelming sense of faith that the Bible is all true and that Noah's faith increased our faith! Thumbs up from our little family!
