Grand Canyon Railway Hotel

Renovated in 2010, this hotel offers a total of 298 rooms. The large lobby has a huge fireplace with comfortable oversized sofas and chairs. It is designed to resemble the Harvey House Hotels operated by Santa Fe Railroad 100 years ago. Spencer's Lounge, located just behind the fireplace, is named after the craftsman that hand-tooled the beautiful 19th century bar in England. Services and facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access, a games room, children's playground, cafe, pub and a restaurant. Business travellers are sure to appreciate the conference facilities and Internet access. A laundry service is available, and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the hotel car park.

Location

The hotel is located adjacent to the century-old Williams Rail Depot, which has served the Grand Canyon since 1901. It is located in small-town America, with a population of 2900. Just 1 block away there is a delightful combination of century-old Western structures intermingled with buildings from the 1950s. Guests can see many relics of the 1950s in the local shops and even enjoy a root beer float or malt at Twisters.

The large standard rooms feature all new carpets, drapes and paint. All materials were selected to reduce impact to the environment. Rooms are en suite with shower, bath and hairdryer. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating come as standard.
