Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on April 20, 2024We prefer forest camping but for one night this was fine. For $40 it’s one of the least expensive. The host is super nice and helpful the bathroom is new and very clean. 30 and 50 amp pull-thru sites - some back in also. 44’ motorhome with a toad next to us and we’re a 33’ 5th wheel so length and height are no problem. Lots of road noise but the campers were quiet.

We stumbled across Willard Peak Campground after experiencing a catastrophic breakdown on the way down I-84. We were lucky enough to get safely settled and were treated so well while we waited for parts and performed repairs. It’s a clean park, very well run and we’d stay here again. The surrounding area is beautiful and worthy of exploring!

You’re almost on top of each other but it was only for the night so we didn’t care that much. Traffic noise was noticeable but not annoying.

The park was smaller but clean overall. However, there are not enough dumpsters for the space. The amenities are minimal, nothing nice but they technically work. No shade at all. We have animals and you couldn't tell the place even allowed pets, as it was barren of animal life like birds and no dog park or any amenity other than a small patch of sad grass in the back corner - strangely peppered with MANY surveillance cameras... apparently there purely to monitor guests in real time. I saw other reviews with the "owners" bragging to guests how they were watching them and their puppies as they were taking them to pee...weird. The maintenance couple were weird also. The man seemed to enjoy gossip and drama amongst the other residents, there was even a financial incentive of 25$ i believe for guests who videotaped others not picking up after their dogs and turning them into management. Not exactly the relaxing, positive energy community one hopes for when trying a park. But if being watched constantly and possibly recorded by other guests is your type of rural vacation - combined with no nature to speak of, just highways and metal buildings -this place might be up your alley. Next time we'll spend a little more and not feel like we're in the twilight zone.

We arrived here on 7-15 (sat). Saturday, 3:00pm for one night. It’s Run very well. Friendly host. Host Provided a welcome packet with brochures on the area and a couple of taffys. Very quiet even on a Saturday night. Great laundry facilities ($5.25/load WD).
Site 33, pull through, $44/night, full hookups. No grass, but outer edge spots have grass along the fence.

There is no pool, courts or anthing like that. But it is super clean and super well runned. There are camera's everywhere including many seasonal rvers who have them on their RV's. This make the place safe from crime, dog poop violators and other issues, so if your complaining it's because you either have something to hide or your a trouble maker. The events are fun and the things the managers offer there keeps it fun. Free Waffle dinner once a month, grocery bingo, craft classes, 2 different nights of game nights, potlucks. The guests are super friendly and the ones that become drama/or trouble makers that will ask to leave. Kids have to follow the same rules so this makes it super nice because everyone is on the same page. They are in walking distance from Apple Creek Amish Market where you can go eat lunch at. Going the other way you have Willard Bay State Park where you can fish, awim, bike. There is the Perry/Willard walking trail 3 miles total. You are in driving distance to a lot of things. You can't live there, they do summer and winter contracts or you can stay weekly or nightly. Check in is easy. They send you a text message with everything you need to know, your site number, the wifi codes, shower codes. Managers live on site. If anything negative, there is no dog fenced area. So don't get caught no picking up poop - it's a $100 find. Be nice to the host. They have to deal with 52 spots, and let them know how they can help you. They are big helpers and love their jobs. They are not normal host, in fact they are pretty fun and big people pleasers.
