A great location for small events like family reunions. The owners are wonderful friendly people.
The location is excellent for exploring the Hells Canyon area. Would definitely stay again

First off I would like to say the owners were such nice people. Very accommodating. Campground was clean although I did not go into the shower or restroom area. We rented three sites right on the river side. It was quite a hill behind the campsites down to the water although they did have a stairway and a beach area a short walk away. The major downfall was how tight the spaces were. You literally almost touched with your awning out. Luckily we had three spots with family so we could crowd each other. Very tight turns to get your trailer backed in. We literally had to get into someone else’s campsite to get our 35 ft fifth wheel in. They had to move their chairs. If you don’t mind being packed in this is a great location for outdoor activities.

I read the reviews before making my reservation about how tight the spaces are. We had the end space so didn't really have an issue getting in. We arrived on Friday afternoon at 2:00p.m. The office was empty and locked. When I found the owner, and said I needed to check in, he acted like I was bothering him. His attitude didn't improve over our stay.

From the first phone call, every interaction was friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Location is beautiful - I could see the Salmon River right out my back window. Big willlow trees for some shade. Spotless and pretty bathroom and shower. Wifi was just good enough to do my remote work all day Tuesday. Cell nearly nonexistent. A little noise from the bridge over the Salmon which is close by. Best was the beautiful white sand beach a 3 minute walk down a dirt road - river was cool and clean. So welcome on the hot August days when I was there. And a rafting company uses their back parking area. Chatted with the couple who run the rafting and took a rafting “float” down the Salmon for several hours, complete with some wonderful rapids, including a couple that are safe to swim! Raft “Captain” Brent was awesome - very thoughtful and interested. Truly a memorable stay.

I didn’t know what to expect as I got the wrong name from someone who shall remain nameless, but this is a nice little park. Sure the sites are a little tight but that’s mainly because the sites have hookups in the middle of 2 campsites. So one pulls in and the other backs in. So it’s a shared space between campers. Since they have a shared fire at the gazebo, this is not an issue. Clean bathrooms, laundry, large DVD collection and great WiFi make this a good choice. And the Hell’s Canyon Jetboat Tour picks up here. All in all, very good!

Small and quaint campground along river. Owner is extremely nice and very accommodating. We didn't have reservations, but she found us a site late in the evening for our stay. I'd definitely come back to fully enjoy the location and proximity to river.
