We stayed 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend 2020 and we will return! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great view (site 1) of the mountains. We loved the aspen trees on the sites. The green grass between each site was a bonus! They have a set of 2 washers and dryers ($2 a load for each) that we used. Laundry room was super clean and there were books and DVD’s available to borrow. Great place for a sunset and stargazing too!

We originally planned to stay 3 days. We called on short notice and they told us if we didn't mind moving after the first night they could accommodate us. We arrived, checked in (staff was great), and set up. We moved the next morning and stayed two days in this spot. The park was mostly full as a lot of people are camping now due to COVID-19.
We were supposed to move for two days up around Cripple Creek, but I had a few altitude problems. We asked the front office about the possibility of extending two more days and they said they were sorry they couldn't accommodate us on that site as it was reserved, but if we didn't mind moving two spots down they could fit us in! Awesome!
The staff was great to work with us. We were a spur of the moment camper and while they couldn't accommodate us on one site for this time they were able to shuffle things around and find a spot for us. Yes we had to move, but we fully understood the situation. We did not have reservations (we called the morning we were to arrive) and they did a great job of finding a place for us!
Everyone in the campground were social distancing and while friendly, no one got too close. We talked to several people at a distance who were quite friendly. While we showered in the camper, we stuck our heads in the bath house to check it out and it was spotless and very well taken care of. WIFI didn't work, but Verizon hotspot was running at 75 megs, which is super fast.
We were wandering about and ran across a national forest campground and the camp host told us that bookings there were 100 percent higher than this time the previous year. So many are choosing to come here to camp as infection rates are very low and it is fairly remote. It's a great town, a great RV park. Next time we make it to this area we'll definitely stay here again. Top notch.

We stayed in October because of previous reviews. It sounded like a lovely place. The place is very clean and we were pleased with bath house. The views of the mountains were very nice. There is a quaint little town nearby. However we could not cook or sit outside to enjoy our site due to the heavy winds in the valley that happened daily for long periods of time We were very disappointed. We would not stay again

The views are absolutely stunning! Clean park and bathrooms. Sites are a little close but still nice for an RV Park. Water/sewer/electric all good.
The hosts were so nice and helpful!
The last day was a little windy but not bad. We lucked out with a warm week for November. Hiking trails nearby.
The town is cute too.
Definitely recommend it.

Loved staying here. The park seems to be fairly new. It is well planned out with all pull-thru spots. Each spot has a 10-12 foot wide strip of real grass and is divided by several aspen trees, which gives it a feeling of privacy. The people running it are beyond friendly. I needed to have a package shipped there and they said no problem - even called when it arrived. I needed a little help with a stuck sewer connection and someone came right away. And the views! Deep in dark sky territory, I could see them from my rig, but loved walking over to the road where I spotted the Milky Way. In the back of the property is Grape Creek, which makes a lovely place to walk. Good wifi, good cell coverage, nice laundry, clean restroom, very quiet (and dark at night!).All in all, I loved staying there.

We’ve been traveling for almost 6 months and this may be the best place we’ve stayed yet! Showers were hot and bath house heated. The views from our site were stunning with awesome sunsets.
The sites were extremely level, which is certainly not always the case.
Our Verizon service came in well and we also had no problem using our jet pack to stream.
Highly recommend. A bonus is 2.3 miles from downtown Westcliff coffee shop. What a sweet little town Westcliff is!

Stopped here on way home. Wonderful owners and staff, make the visit worth a stop in and of itself. Was windy and short afternoon rain showers (mid August, I think the norm here). Sites are level, pull thru, easy to navigate. Awesome view of the mountains for the row of sites with unobstructed view; not sure you can see from other sites. Sites were very close together, unable to not hear your neighbors conversations or gatherings. Perhaps a good thing, as folks who stay here are very friendly too. Wifi was iffy. Cell reception OK.

Beautiful setting, spacious sites with both grass and aspen trees. Spectacular Mountain View to the west, super dark sky and campground both! Really hope to make it back there someday.

We arrived just before dark on a cloudy, rainy evening; which was kind of a bummer as we were there to enjoy the dark sky that night. (Which we were able to see as the skies cleared up later that night) The next morning we woke up to a spectacular view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, just across the valley. What a beautiful place this is. Each site had a nice patch of grass, multiple Aspen trees, clean and level parking. We would gladly go back here again and hope to do so one day. The staff couldn’t have been any friendlier or nicer. 5 stars all the way!
