We stayed for just a couple overnights to rest up before the next leg of our journey- we had a breakdown and had to come in really late 11pm. We had called late afternoon and we were told to come in at any time, pick a spot and stop into the office in the morning. The facilities were clean and tidy, staff was incredibly friendly and we had superb internet connection and cell service. Would definitely stay here again anytime! There is a train nearby but we barely ever heard it!

We connected to power through our Watchdog power monitor and initially everything appeared OK. But just at dusk the Watchdog reported a serious power issue and thankfully disconnected our power - saving possible damage to our unit. In the morning the unit reconnected.
We reported the problem to management and asked to move to a different site. We were basically given the cold shoulder (or more like the look of daggers) and told they would look into it - which they never did.
The 2nd evening the Watchdog issued an error and disconnected us again. With my voltmeter I checked the plug in the pedestal, and sure enough I found a wiring problem - voltage between the neutral and ground.
It was then we realized the nearby dusk to dawn street light was likely wired off our pedestal. Whenever the light turned on (at dusk) it would create a short across the wiring in our pedestal. When the light shut off in the morning, the issue would go away. We paid for a week in advance, and rather than walk away, we stayed for the week and lived with no power at night.
We also would not recommend this campground because the pull through sites are very narrow, and the units are parked back to back. You end up with your neighbors vehicle at your front door.
Also, there were nearby trains that went by at least 6 times a night. Very noisy!

We stayed here one night during a trip from Phoenix to San Diego. While the entrance to the road leading to the campground is close to I-8, the actual campground is not: we could hear the occasional train go through town (they don’t blow their horns when they go by, thankfully) but not any highway noise.

We were greeted by a staff member when we pulled up to the office, who took our payment and told us we could take any of the pull-through spots, and suggested we pull in so we were facing east so as not to get the worst of the sun. The campground is roughly divided into two sections: the long term section which is a mix of permanent trailer homes and back-in sites, and the wide open area where the pull-through sites were located. I guess the “Tier” in the name refers to the fact that the easternmost row of homes is a level down from the neighboring row?

The pull-through sites are on a hard dirt surface with a light coating of small gravel. The hookups are towards the front of the site and each set of hookups are shared by two sites in a buddy-site arrangement: if the campground had been full, it could have been a tight fit. There are no picnic tables or grills or anything, but the site was level.

Next to the pull-through sites is a building containing washers and dryers, books and puzzles, a long table designed to serve a desk/work area, and two bathrooms. On the opposite site of the pull-through sites are two dumpsters and some horseshoe pits. In the area around the office is a set of shuffleboard courts, a dining room, some bathrooms with showers, and an outdoor pool.

There are no dog-specific facilities, but there were places to walk our dogs on the outskirts of the pull-though area and along the line of palms trees between two of the rows.

In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was about 9Mbps down and 24Mbps up, and we had no trouble streaming video other than the occasional pixelation and buffering. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed 46Mbps down and 20 up, making me think the nearby cell tower is operated by AT&T.

It was windy the day we arrived, but calm the morning we left, and around 9:30 that morning we could suddenly smell manure from a farm north of the campground, which apparently brought some flies with it. No idea if that’s typical or an unusual shift in wind direction, and we only noticed it while outside. The local town is pretty small, but has a few dollar stores and small roadside restaurants.

We would stay here again if we were passing through the area during the offseason.

This place is predominantly geared to long term snowbirds who stay several months. It has a large social hall, showers, laundry and all that you would want except a store. I have used it several times, pitching the tent in a more remote section, where it is quiet and clean. Manager is always very helpful and accommodating

We stayed here for 6 months from Sept to March. The office people are very helpful and nice to talk to. The Camp Host will take you to your spot and hep you back in or pull into your spot. Most of the park is park models. There is spots in between the park models you can back in. Up on the hill there is the pull through slots. The back in spots by the park models are spacious. The pull through spots are long and can't get pretty close to one another. Great place to stay for the winter season. They have shuffle board, bingo, karaoke, golf outings at the local course, pool and hot tub.
