Cafe Saint-Ex

Chef Jesse Miller has been at this cooking thing a long time.  He loves it.  He loves the creativity that his brain continuously pumps out and he loves it when people love his food.  What he doesn't love is too much attention.  He wants to be known for his food, not his great physique and dreamy face.  Forget that part.  He puts nothing into those aspects.  He focuses almost exclusively on fresh ingredients, interesting ways to present familiar flavor profiles and getting along well with his staff.  His goal for 2014 is to get that picture of him shirtless with a frying pan removed from a search of his name. Owen Thomson is in DC because this is his home town.  He loves tattoos, drinking, attention and non-verbal communication.  He has produced some of the most impressive cocktail menus in the US including Think Food Group with Jose Andres, Range with Bryan Voltaggio and now Bar Pilar and Cafe St. Ex.  He's a cool cat who is rarely swayed by situations others would consider stressful because…well, he’s got the best life imaginable.
