“Mainted by volunteers”
Wasco Railroad Depot & Museum sits in the center of Wasco and houses the Wasco Railroad and City History Center. Volunteers have worked to maintain this wonderful old depot. Grants from the Sherman County Cultural Trust have helped make many of the improvements possible. The depot is also used as a gathering point for Wasco's many town activites, such as the Memorial Day celebration, Wasco Salmon/Steelhead Tournament, Halloween fun house, and Santa's arrival. Local home-school children use it for group activities.
Historic railroad depot and museum. Open Fridays and Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm from April 15 to October 15 and by appointment.
