Very nice RV park. Full hookups and good WiFi. Close to I10 and easy to get to. Nice lake and great staff.
If you don’t like to hear the freeway noise this is not the place for you, if you need a food overnight spot, this place is perfect. The bathrooms are superclean and feel like a residential shower. Laundry facility with 4 washers and dryers. You can pay via an app. They have propane fill up and the hosts are super friendly. She gave me a ride to the laundry room as she saw me carrying the laundry.

Jason and the rest of the staff at Rio RV are as kind as can be. They saw me down to my site and I mentioned that I was going to wash my rig. They immediately offered up and ladder and even offered up physical labor. I took them up on the ladder. Spoke to Jason a few more times throughout the evening and got a recommendation for some local BBQ (Tony’s), which was great as well.
The RV park is just off the I10 so you do get some noise. They have an upper level and lower lever down next to a bayou! Get the lower level pull-thru sites. 41 is best, but anything lower level is nice. I’m not sure I’d have the same feedback if I was on the upper level. A bit cramped and no real view.
24 hour laundry, propane, etc…

Stayed mid-Jan 2022.
Well-maintained and generally peaceful. Very safe. Gated with a code as well. Spots were a bit tight, which could be less comfy if staying for more than a few nights.
Very nice staff and welcoming.
Propane available on-site.
Ice and firewood available on site.
Saying all of this with the understanding that it is literally a couple hundred feet from the highway. And it is a busy highway. So, you will hear interstate noise. The noise did not bother us.
Good wifi.
Had Verizon and AT&T service.
A bit stinky from propane, but maybe that was the neighbors or something, as it got below 35 and we all had our heat on. But, the propane smell was really strong at night outside.
It really is a nice place. It just happens to be next to the highway.

Very friendly staff. We were given a pull through site just for the night. We were met in front of the office and showed where our site was. Park is on the water. The bath house and laundry room look pretty new and clean. Looks like they are making alot of improvements to the park. I would definitely stay again. Very convenient right off of I-10.

We arrived and got a cement pad site, full hook up, found the restrooms to be 5 star, staff is some of the friendliest you’ll find. Would most definitely stop here again!

Friendly welcome. Cement pull thru. Utilities worked well. Clean and tidy park, laundry and restrooms. Small fishing lake. Small playground area. No dog park, but plenty of space to walk the dogs. Would stay here again.

Horrible customer service.
Booked via phone the day after Thanksgiving. Lady from the park was quick to charge my card but goofed up my email address so never got the gate code. Tried calling back, even texting, for several hours but she never replied. Showed up at the park without the code, tried to call again - no answer. Saw some folks inside the gate and told them our dilemma, they were kind enough to give us the gate code so we could get in. The lady from the park finally texted back with the gate code several hours later.
Odd voltage coming off the pedestal - both 30AMP and 50AMP, and the pedestal is very far forward on the pad - my 25-foot power cable was all but stretched out. Didn't even try to run the sewer hose out.
The roar of the freeway could be heard all night long. The only good thing was the wide, level concrete pad.

Gated RV park. Easy entry and our spot was right near the front. Showers are nice. They could use a rack to hang your clothes on but water was hot and shower was clean. We stayed one night and did some laundry. It’s cashless so bring your CC
