“crafting wines in Walla Walla”
Adamant Cellars is a product of a 20-year dream. With my passion for winemaking, my wife Debra and I created Adamant Cellars in the summer of 2006 and moved into our larger facility at the Walla Walla airport November 2011. We are dedicated to making the best decisions in crafting our wines. We strive for balanced, elegant, and approachable wines that make you want to not just return for another sip, but another glass, and another bottle. In researching our cellar name we came upon Adamant -- which is a doublet for diamond -- an exceptionally hardy substance. It is said to possess an adamant stone is to have the ability to "know the joy found in all things." Adamant has expressive wine associations: hardy, intense, powerful, depth, rich, and elegant; this coupled with being "Adamant" about producing wines that compare with the definition, lead us to choosing it as our winery name.
