After home brewing for more than 20 years, Clan Chief Brewer Court Ruppenthal, came to Washington’s Walla Walla Valley to learn the art of winemaking. He quickly realized that what the valley really needed was beer – really good beer. And that was the start of Laht Neppur Brewing Co. After all, winemakers in the valley are often heard saying, “It takes a lot of beer to make good wine.” SliderWinterBrewFest. Court may be the person behind the creation of our delicious award-winning brews, but his wife, Katie Ruppenthal, runs the show at the Brewery and Ale House. You’ll find her working behind the counter most days alongside our wonderful (and often hilarious) service staff.
