“home to the world's largest maze!”

Originally operated as a fruit stand beginning in 1950, Dole Plantation opened to the public as Hawaii’s "Pineapple Experience" in 1989. Today, Dole Plantation is one of Oahu’s most popular visitor attractions and welcomes more than one million visitors a year.   Dole Plantation provides enjoyable activities for the entire family, including the Pineapple Express, the Plantation Garden Tour, and the Pineapple Garden Maze. Also popular are informational displays and presentations, as well as our plantation country store offering a wide variety of Dole Plantation gifts, local favorites, foods and refreshments including the world-famous DoleWhip®. And, before you leave you can purchase fresh pineapple to take home. In 2008, Dole Plantation’s giant Pineapple Garden Maze was declared the world’s largest maze. The maze stretches over three acres and includes nearly two and one-half miles of paths crafted from 14,000 colorful Hawaiian plants. Walk through the flora of the islands as you seek out eight secret stations that each lead you closer to the mystery at the heart of this larger-than-life labyrinth, one of only a handful of permanent botanical mazes in America. For an enhanced maze experience, download our FREE Dole Plantation app on your iPhone or Android device to automatically track your time and maze stations you’ve found.

This plantation is so fun! We had a great time in the maze and enjoyed some pineapple floats, as well. A beautiful place to visit!

Cool place. We rode a train through the field and saw the pineapples growing. They also have an area set up where locals sell hand crafted stuff. There is also a nice gift shop and snack bar. We had the freshly made pineapple Ice cream and the pineapple float fresh pineapple ice cream with fresh pineapple juice, best float and ice cream ever. Then I opened oysters and found pearls it was a lot of fun.
