We planned on an overnight as we transitioned home after 6 weeks on the road. This was on the way and we are ACE campground fans so you couldn’t beat the price. We stayed here on November 29 and it was a cold day/next morning. We originally scheduled spot 34 but it was super sloped so I went online and changed I changed it to 35 once we were in the park. There were only 4 campers in the entire place so we had the pick of many spots. Spot 35 was a very level concrete pad spot with a great view. There are other spots in the campground that had very nice long concrete spots. The only drawback to this spot and others is that the water hook up is very far away. We didn’t hook up since we were only there a night and it was going to be freezing, but something to note. There is a boat ramp in the campground so you can launch without leaving the campground. The next morning we saw the Campground host and she let us know that typically they close December 1st, but this year they were staying open year round. She was very nice and we were glad we had that encounter. We used the dump station, but as expected the water hose was frozen, but we disconnected it and used our own to flush out the tank. This campground is hidden away and the road into it is pretty rough. But once you get there, the view is amazing. We will go back again.

Quiet, wooded park on a pretty lake, with no noise other than the birds and a very distant train.
Close to the town of Wagoner, which has a post office, Walmart, auto parts stores, laundromat.
The route off Hwy 69 into the campground is a little narrow, but well paved and easily navigable.
Did not use bathhouse.
Some sites in the upper part of the campground are long enough for larger RVs, but tight. We tow a 41' 5th wheel, and it was a challenge to back into site #11 due to narrow roads and awkward spacing. If we come back, we will choose a site on the peninsula, or a pull-through (see attached campground map).
In addition, the upper part of the property is shaded (we had to trim a few tree branches); there are more "naked" sites on the peninsula.
30 amp hookup worked well, and water pressure was nice and high.
Be prepared for constant Oklahoma winds -- it's been breezy or gusty the entire 48 hours we've been here for our late April visit.

Stayed one night while on a road trip. Great location, lovely view. Site 3 was great. Would NOT recommend Site 6 unless you only have a pop up.

As a rule, we don’t stay at campgrounds very often. We prefer to boondock. But, this is probably the nicest campground we have ever seen. Very wide, spacious sites, friendly people, easy going. The camp hosts were lovely. The campground sits on a pretty lake, and a lot of fishermen came and went. Evenings were quiet, sunrises were beautiful. Loved it.

Pros:
-large swimming lake
-nice camp hosts
-site includes grill, fire pit, 50/30 AMP, and water
Cons:
-site had a nice view of the lake obstructed by 2 sites tightly situated next to site 1 (can hear any they make the sites are so close)
-lack of maintenance (potholes on road, odd rocks everywhere, pad was in meh condition)
-road in is very tight and site pad also on the smaller side width-wise
