Sorry, I don't remember out site number, but it was in the loop directly adjacent to the highway. We did have a bearing pecan tree in our site, so that was fun to browse. Acceptable 4g Verizon signal for work. Nice level site with picnic table and sun shade. Beautiful sunset over the lake.

Stayed here overnight to visit friends. Loved my site. Sunset was beautiful. Bath house was adequate. Easy access to town. Nice place to get away.

We stayed here 2 nights. We had a lakefront site the first night and had to move to the back the next night. If you can get a lakefront.

We loved our stay! Our site #1 was a long back in with a beautiful view of Lake Waco and sunsets. We have a 43 ft 5th wheel and there was plenty of room for our RV and truck and the rear patio. The non-sewer sites were spaced out nicely with plenty of space between sites. The sewer sites were closer together and out by the road so I'm glad we picked a non-sewer site. Access to the park was easy, just off hwy 6. You have to go under a bridge before the entrance if you are traveling west on 6, but the clearance was plenty high enough (we are 13'6"). Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile all worked well there.

Overall was a good basic campground. Located on Lake Waco it had beautiful views, but the water must have been recently receded so there was a large amount of debris all around the park by the water. If you're looking for something close to Magnolia Silos and other things to explore in Waco this was a great spot. You are closer to the highway so there's definitely some highway noise. We had a great spot on the lake, but if you're coming in any heat I would recommend to choose sites away from the water as these are fully shaded. There is a small playground that was perfect for our two year old daughter.

Quick 10-15 minute drive to downtown Waco and all the Magnolia sites. The campground itself was clean and we enjoyed the views of Lake Waco from our site.
We were in site 3, a double. It was the last lakefront site left and we found it worth the extra $12 a night for the lake views. There are several long lakefront sites that are singles.
Everything the other reviews said about the amazing sunsets and road noise are true. The gates close at 10pm if you’re out later, but the campground is small enough you can park outside the gate until morning.
If you’re into coffee we really enjoyed Pinewood Coffee Bar.

NO LAUNDRY!!! I needed to say that one con before I praised the rest. Our particular site has a slight hill. Next to playground-perfect for the kids. Beautiful lake sunsets. Simply stunning. We did not experience road noise. Bathrooms could definitely use some improvements. We loved the location. For laundry we recommend magic wash n dry on Bosque.

Very nice campground. With my senior pass, it was only 13.00 a night for electric and water hookups. There are six pull through sites with full hookups, but all spaced together, no shade, and no water view. Most of the other sites are shaded, except a few next to the water, and most also have a shelter over the picnic table. There are a few double sites. Some sites are a little too close together, but the trees help maintain a feeling of privacy. There are a few full hook up sites spaced in the electric and water sites. The bathrooms were old and in need of an update, but were fairly clean. Park is in the Waco city limits.

Camping site was good, paved and level. However, overall grounds showing some age and bathrooms are definitely in need of updating. Location is convenient to downtown Waco so it is still worth the stay. Traffic noise was not an issue from our site.

Nice place to camp site 7 is a little tough to back a 40 ft fifth wheel into but doable lake side. Next time through I would stay longer.
