Colcord House

Built in 1924, Colcord House is located in north Waco, just a short five minute drive from the Hot Fairgrounds, Historic Downtown Waco, museums, antique stores, historic homes, Cameron Park, the River Walk, & Cameron Park Zoo.  Colcord House is ten minutes from MCC, Baylor University, Floyd Casey Stadium, and shopping areas. The Waco Airport, Industrial Park and Market Place shopping are fifteen minutes away.  We are Rick and Pam Allen, owners of the Colcord House Bed and Breakfast. The Colcord House is conveniently located in the beautiful and stately historical district of Waco, Texas. One might think that such an interesting place might be archaic to visit. Quite to the contrary, the Colcord House is comfortable and has the luxury of its own with its private pools and gardens. We would love to show you the distinctively lovely Colcord House, and its many historically significant rooms.       The Colcord House was originally owned by the Lacy family of Waco, Texas. The Lacy family was one of the original families in the industrial and banking industries in Waco. The family built the house and maintained the house throughout the twentieth century. We, the Allen family, bought the dwelling from the Lacy family in 1995. We became the proud owners of the Colcord House Bed and Breakfast.
