Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on October 16, 2023I skipped the weekend, so have chance to wander around to get a sated spot. Be ready for hot sun, it's not easy to get a good shading site. But, no big deal, it's summer! Enjoy outdoor!

Not a bad sppt for a night or two, despite all the Jeeps and ATV noise until 10pm. Campground is located about 1/2mile up Liberty Rd on the right - theres no sign so you pretty much dont see it until you're on top of it.
Sites 1-7 are the first turn off down to the right. Keep on the road and head right after crossing over the creek to get to the rest of the sites. Sites 1-7 are basically tent only, except for 1 or 2 that could fit a small camper. I would suggest walking it first - theres a small turn around area at the end but definitely restrictive if you're towing.
IMO site 11 is the nicest as its completely by itself and large enough for a good size trailer. Sites 12 and up are basically just in a big open field so no privacy.
Nearly all sites have access to the creek... It's chilly but nice and refreshing to set up your camp chair and soak your feet.
No cell coverage and not much to do if ATVing or just relaxing isnt your thing.

The drive in was easy and paved almost the whole way.
The site we chose was surrounded by trees and greenery, so we had plenty of privacy. However, there was a road above us, so a bit of traffic buzz.
Each site has a table and firepit. Didn’t notice a toilet.
Stayed here 9/22/19.

What an amazing stay, besides children on dirt bikes riding on the main road into camp. I don’t mind the kids riding, I mind the dust all over everything constantly.
Don’t take the first right, take the second right. You can see it on the map. First right is more for tents. The second side really is incredible. Huge spots, and a bunch of them. We had a few days with the place to ourselves. Make sure to get the spots on the passenger side when pulling in because they have creek access.
We were also very lucky to witness the Perseid meteor shower against the Milky Way. It made up some for being covered in dust.

We camped here to go hiking in Swauk Forest Discovery Trail at Blewett Pass and Cheese Rock in Teanaway Community Forest. We arrived here on Friday (10/13) 10 am and there were only a few sites occupied. By the evening most sites were occupied. There are two spurs. The first spur is for smaller sites (1 - 7) suitable for tent camping. The second spur is for larger sites (8 -15) suitable for RVs. We have a 25 ft long class C RV and camped at site 14.
We liked the campground. The site 14 was spacious and had picnic table and a fire ring and is exposed to the sun. We had a beautiful fall foliage in the back of the site. The drive in was relatively easy. Only problem was the noise made by ATVs. Apparently this campground is a good base camp for the nearby U.S. Forest Service motorized trail system. The cell phone signal was weak and fluctuated from no signal to 2 bars.
