“home made icecream!”
Clarks is famous for their home made icecream. We have over thirty flavors of milkshakes or sundaes. We have been voted "Best Burger" in the twin harbors by the readers of the local newspaper thirteen years now. We have a great breakfast and serve full dinners also. Established in 1923The business started at this location in 1923 as a gas station, tavern and grocery store. When the loggers who stopped were hungry the food was added and it built fron there. In the sixties it became Clarks and John Clark introduced his grandmother's home made ice cream to the mixture. In 1997 Kathy and Rich Pacana bought Clarks and John taught them how to make the special ice cream and they brought Clarks back to life after a brief period of time that it was closed. It is no longer a tavern or gas station. It is now a destination restaurant serving the best burgers and ice cream around.
