Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on July 13, 2020We stayed at the north end of Kolob reservoir for 3 days / 2 nights in a trailer in July. We found a spot on the north end right next to the little river inlet. The driving coming up from Zion National Park through the Zion back country is worth the trip alone. The views were like an old west movie set. However, the drive is very steep and there are a lot of sharp turns, so be cautious when driving up from Zion. I recommend getting there early - We arrived late, around 9:30 pm, and the reservoir looked full of campers. The fishing is good. We caught brown trout from fishing off the shore, and also caught crawfish. The main negative of this site is that there is a dirt road that encircles most of the lake. There is a ton of ATV activity so you will get dusted from pretty much anywhere you camp on the lake, outside of the formal campground. We had a trailer that helped shield us somewhat from the dirt. I personally wouldn’t camp here if I was using a tent. Would stay again because it’s close to Zion and there is a lot to do in the area. No cell service.

Stayed here for three days right on the water. It was quiet, even on the weekend. Seems to be a family friendly place with lots of sites to spread out and enjoy the water. Everyone was super respectful and looked to be local, at least in late September. Would recommend for all rigs, there’s a camp site for you somewhere.
