Confirmed by 7 users | Last reported on June 02, 2022We were checking on places to stay in our rv for a week and very sad that they are immature on dogs. Due to us having 2 very well behaved rescue pittbulls we are turned away from yet another park. I really hope one day that these parks will wake up to the fact that not all animals with an "aggressive breed" are anywhere remotely aggressive. Wake up America!
These couple of bad reviews are giving this parking an unfairly low average rating. I have stayed at hundreds of parks and this is one of the nicest I've been in. It's very very well-maintained, sites are nice and large, the driveways are easy to navigate and there's tons of green space and beautiful big trees everywhere. It's right next to Highway nine but even the sites next to the highway are setback and I did not notice traffic noise overnight. There a playground area is a nice dog run plenty of places to walk your dog and private restrooms with showers. There's also a nice tent camping area if you're traveling light. Oh yeah and there's a pool and hot tub and it's 12 miles to Springdale and Zion national Park. Office is open late I think until 10 PM so if you don't like that online reservation system just call them. I'm a big fan and will definitely be back. @Airstreamin.
One of the nicest parks we have experienced. Clean spacious and well maintained.
We were there one night in for 4th of July. Great facilities but way too hot so we left a day early. The resort had a nice pool and great amenities. We had a site on the edge with no shade and very little space but the inside shaded pull throughs were very nice. We booked too late to get one of those spots due to holiday. Nice folks. About 15 min from Springdale ams park entrance. There is a shuttle from park but it only runs once per day 8am drop and 2pm pickup.
This is a great place to stay. We extended our stay there given our kids liked it so much. Clean, everything available, great pool and very helpful staff.
This is an amazing resort, VERY clean, pool and playground for the kids, river with frogs in the summer and a 7 mile skip into Zion. The staff is very helpful, and if you are feeling lazy, for a very reasonable price, they make dinner.
We plan entire vacations around staying at this resort and can't wait to get back up there again
Zion River Resort is a delightful place to camp while exploring Zion and the surrounding area. The park is well run and well maintained. The bathrooms/showers are some of the nicest and cleanest we've seen. We've come to expect reduced service in the off season but that was not the case at Zion River Resort. We will be back for sure!

Nice store, office, pool/spa, & sites. Every site has a fire pit & nice aluminum picnic table. 20 or so cable channels. Nice grass around the sites. Wifi was decent. This has been a well-run place for a long time now. Not the cheapest but it’s super nice. Downside: Not located within walking distance to any attraction / activity. Rate listed includes Good Sam discount.

I mistakenly ended up at this campground. When I was planning my trip early on I thought I had made my reservation at a nearby campground just outside the entrance to Zion National Park. I finished a long hike in Zion and was ready to get situated for the night late afternoon and night and pulled into the other campground. I checked my email to confirm the space number and kept driving around to find it. After about 10 minutes of that nonsense I pulled over and parked and re-read the entire pre arrival email. I discovered then I was at the wrong place. So back on to the road and West I went. When I finally arrived at Zion River Resort its appeared to be 10x nicer than the other. It was better maintained, nicely landscaped, signs clearly posted, roads easily navigable, sites clearly marked. I found my spot in no time and backed in. Spot 111 is against the pool. If you want peace and quiet you might consider a spot further away from the pool or maybe not use a campground at all, frankly. I didn’t mind the background noise of kids playing and laughing and people talking on the pool deck. Quiet time starts at 10pm so after then I noticed no excessive noise. By the way capacity limits were in place for both pool and store and from what I could tell were being adhered to. The store/checkin staff was very friendly and helpful. The showers were probably the cleanest I’ve experienced at a campground. The wifi was a little spotty, but I had decent LTE reception. I walked the park and met someone who was renting a converted Mercedes Benz Sprinter Cargo van which I’ve been looking into doing myself. While social distancing we chatted for awhile and he showed me the van. Awesome stuff. The campground is next to a river. It was cool to check that out but didn’t stay out there long. Overall great campground experience! Thank you.

Stayed for 4 nights. The park is 10minutes away from Zion National Park and about 2hrs from Bryce Canyon. The park is adjacent to the Virgin River. Walking path to the river is great for kids. Verizon signal is poor but TMobile gets 4 bars. This park is the best alternative when campgrounds inside Zion are booked. The park store is relatively full of pertinent supplies and gift items. They even have a “mining” activity for the kiddos. Would def stay here again when we visit the area next.
