“beautiful mountain views”
We are located in the heart of the San Luis Valley, one of the highest mountain valleys in Colorado, and are a haven for people looking for beautiful mountain views, OHV recreation, hunting, or just spending time with friends. We have been a small family run business for over 29 years, and pride ourselves on a well maintained, clean area with very reasonable rates. Over the years, we have formed great friendships with many of our visitors, many of which have been coming to camp or hunt at our area for more than a decade. We are surrounded by BLM and NFS land and provide full OHV access right from your site. Access to thousands of acres of public land is yours without ever having to trailer. Please take a moment to explore our site and learn more about our wonderful area, and the facilities we can offer you on your next visit to our beautiful area.

Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 06, 2020We were recommended this campground by Terry's RV service when we called him for service on our roof air. We were amazed at how nice it was. Beautiful views all around the valley. Laundry showers and lots of quiet! Owners were awesome and friendly! Great WiFi and Verizon was good also!

No frills but the price is right for full hookups. It does look like much from the highway but once in the campground there are just enough trees and a nice view of the mountains to feel right. Water pressure was poor but did the trick.
VZ was barely functional but ATT was a bit better though still only just useable. Boosting helps slightly

This was a one nighter for us but we would have stayed longer. Very small, very quiet and nice trees between sites. Laundry and showers were adequate. Owners very friendly. We loved this place!

This is a nice RV park that is just south of Poncha Pass. It’s run by a family that lives on the property, that’s about a 1/4 mile off 285. The sites are quiet with no road noise. They are cash only and you book via phone or email. The nightly rate was $35 for 2 and $5 for each additional.
The park has about 12 pull through sites with full hookups, both 30 and 50 amp. There are trees between sites and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. They allow leashed dogs. There are trash cans all over. They have free showers and toilets as well as a coin washer and dryer. The facilities are dated but clean. The hosts are helpful and friendly. They have a dump station too.
It’s about 30 minutes from Salida which has most major grocery stores. We got 2-3 bars with AT&T. They have WiFi which works well for phone usage, about 4Mbps down. We were able to take and make phone calls without issues.

We camped in 16 campgrounds in 30 days and this was one of our favorite places. We loved the convenience of being not far off the main drag but in a little oasis of trees with a nice berm that blocked all highway noise. The restrooms are clean and the owners are nice but not intrusive. Most of the people we met at the campground were friendly. The campsites are pull throughs with full hookups. The views are beautiful. It was a wonderful place to spend six nights. There is a lot to do in the area, especially if you have a 4x4 or any kind of off road vehicle. Villa Grove is not very big but they have a wonderful pottery shop with beautiful pieces at great prices. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is less than an hour away and Alamosa isn't too far to drive for groceries. It's a great location and we would for sure stay here again when we are in the area.
