We liked it, the owner, and the area so much stayed an extra night. Look forward to our next visit!!

Great grounds, near the interstate. Great location for exploring Shawnee National Forest’s eastern half. Sites are fairly level and hook up services are new and placed well. Bathrooms were new and very clean.

We stayed for one night. Conveniently located off the interstate. We had the whole place to ourselves. Did a little hiking- lots of good trails. We would have rode our bikes around if we had more time. Sites were spacious and well-maintained. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Hoping they’ll get a playground eventually.

The staff was unbelievably friendly. The sites are great. It’s close to parks & food. We had cell phone service, which is a plus for us. We’ll definitely be back to explore more.

This was a really pretty park right off the interstate so the access was good. It wasn't so close as to be terribly loud either. The things this place had going for it are the price, the wonderful paved walking trails around various ponds and lakes and the really sweet staff.
I had an issue with my AC and called the office and Angela brainstormed with me and helped me figure it out. She didn't have to do that but she really wanted to help. Then later her husband came by just to check on me and make sure everything was still working. The world needs more people like those 2.
There is no cable here but got plenty of OTA channels. Cell service was really good unboosted on ATT (30d/l) and Verizon was week even with a booster but usable.
The sites were very long and spacious but pretty unlevel.

We called last minute as we typically do while traveling. Upon arrival we were greeted by sweet lady. The park was medium size, clean with roads a bit narrow for big RV’s like ours (43’ 5th wheel with a 2023 Duramax) to navigate, but we got it. Clean with full hookup on all sites. Would recommend for overnight stays or longer. They have a small lake or pond depending on where you come from. ;)

This was a very pleasant surprise. We were driving from Colorado to Atlanta. We really enjoyed this park and will stay there again and stay longer to enjoy the area. I’d like to come back and go biking. Each site has water and power, fire pit, and picnic table. We had a pull through. It’s built on an old golf course and we very much enjoyed taking a walk after dinner and after breakfast the next morning.

Nice campground. Easy access. There is road noise, but not overwhelming. Clean area. Clean bathrooms. Sites are a little close together for my liking. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a one night stopover between Wyoming and Florida. Nice little campground in the middle of the forest. Didn’t hear too much road noise. Nice level spot, had everything we needed. Checked in after hours, all instructions were waiting on us outside the office. Would definitely stay here again.

I don't typically write reviews but this site is just lovely. Spacious pull- through site, with an awesome view of a pond, the whole space here is just lovely. Other reviews mentioned noise, but we haven't discerned any. I actually wish I could stay longer and just chill out. My kids are complaining of no Wi-fi but for adults, we are working and travel with our own Mi-Fi (keeping kids off them), so no sweat. Reservations are done online. Everything so easy peasy.
