will start out with the good things, the site was level, the water pressure was so powerful, first time we had to use our reducer, did have a nice play ground for the kids, other then that this is the worst campground we have stayed at in our 8 yrs of traveling, they had wi-fi but you cant do anything with it, we have a tower for our own internet but there was no connection close enough so we had min, wi-fi for our own use, we have T-Mobile and we could make some phone calls but that was spotty, our neighbors had Verizon and the same thing. we only got like 5 air tv channels, so i hope you have a lot of CD's lol. the pool was the worst, it was contaminated, people were getting sick after swimming in it, but the worst was we only had 50amp and water hookup, no sewer, and they charged $80 a nite ??. and to get to the dump station, it wasn't by the exit, like normal campgrounds, we had to make a serious u turn to get the rear of the park, block traffic, dump, then go up a hill for another serious u turn and then head out of the place, its not made for big rigs, but can be done. the bathrooms/showers we terrible, we will never stay at this campground again, EVER,

Our rating is based on the park and the price point.
Pros:
Creek view, location, price
Cons:
Small sites, traffic noise (from the county road, not highway), cell / wifi accessibility
The location is VERY convenient to the interstate, yet far enough away that you don't hear non-stop traffic. The highway exit has fast food, a Flying J and an RV dealership if you need supplies.
The park itself is relatively well maintained with level sites. We visited during the "COVID chaos", so most of the amenities were closed. However, the pool appeared to be nice. The play area was well maintained. We weren't able to see the bath / shower facilities.
The sites were narrow, as were the roads. So, getting into your spot could be a challenge.
The other guests were loud but shut-down promptly at the start of quiet hours.
The wifi speed at our site was 2.27 download / .53 upload. So, fast enough to check e-mail but not enough to send pictures.
Overall, it's a good stopover but not a destination.

My wife and I lived here for ~6 months in the fall winter and early spring of 2021-2022
For passing through and staying a few nights it's a great place. The front-most lots are for the weekenders and obviously they are the nicest lots. The middle of the park is the seasonal campers, again nice lots.
We were put with the long-termers in the back of the campground, which can be kinda wishy-washy.
Pros:
-You are super close to both interstate 75 and 71 and approximately 30 minutes from downtown Cincy.
-You're a mile and a half from the exit in Walton, Walton has a great bakery in "downtown". The exit has a Pilot, several other gas stations, fast food a NICE Kroger, a stand-alone Starbucks, etc.
-Almost everyone at this campground is friendly! Staff and tenants alike.
-Verona has two exceptional wineries nearby. Schoolyard and Brianza. Brianza is upscale. Schoolyard is more like a brewery.
Cons:
-People dont watch their kids, especially in the back lots where people live. Kids were always running screaming across our lot, which was super annoying since my wife works from home and screens candidates on phone calls, and I'm fairly certain they took the screw on cap for my big blue turd toter. (We're talking like 5-10 year olds) However the front weekender lots always seemed fairly quiet.
-New owners/company bought the place our first month there and the prices started going up instantly after everyone was told they werent going up. We were one day late on paying because we had an odd pay schedule on a holiday and they put a notice on our camper that morning we were getting evicted. (For being one day late) However talked to the park manager that day and she assured me it was okay. (Even though she was the one that wouldve put the note on our door, didnt seem like a friendly gesture at all)
-One dump station, can get backed up on a busy weekend. If all else fails Im fairly certain the Pilot has a dump station, but I can't confirm we never used it.
-Showers are often dirty and very outdated. At the time of us living there only one of the showerheads in the womens worked and my wife often noticed there was always cigarette butts in the shower floors (from the kids mentioned above)
Tips to anyone with a long stay: The campground had/has a laundromat, it's not much and it's even fairly inexpensive... but this is also where kids hang out to use the park's wifi. Walton has a much nicer laundromat in town that I preferred to use.

The pull-through Side was flat & Gravel. Easy to get into. This is part of the sites are In the front by the brand new playground And Basketball court. However, They are working on the water pumps so there are piles of dirt along the Sites which are on Top of each other. The neighbors Firepit is only a few feet from our camper and I hear Every word. On The opposite side, It’s only 5 Ft from a Hybrid Tent/trailer with barking Dogs all Night. The bathrooms are disgusting. I went to check them out since we had already winterized, but we had to drain the antifreeze & hook up H2O. Bathrooms had Filthy floors, 2 Toilets Seemed Stopped Up, and the other had muddy bootprints on the seat. Also reaked of cig smoke. showers had outside hook but no benches. Old & gross. The Cg has permanents and many are circled around the overnight pullthrus and the are old and a little cluttered. Close to hwy and the ark encounter. Wifi supposedly but we couldn’t get here by the check in house. coverage is spotty. Could send a text not a pic. Ok for 1 night. The firepit is nice with stone blocks. Nice lamp posts. I think new owners are trying to fix up but it’s not there yet. They need to get rid of the permanents/seasonals and rebuild a new set of restrooms.
