Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on May 14, 2023We camped here for a one night stay on our way to Amarillo. The campground is right off of Rt. 287 and next to a Walmart and a train track. For people sensitive to noise, this campground is pretty noisy with road and train noise pretty consistent day and night. My main issue with the campground is the sites are grass which turns to mud with rain. When we got here I notice fire ants so that is an issue as well. Power was good with consistent 50 amp service. Wifi was excellent which was a plus. Easy satellite TV views. There are no amenities to speak of but that is not what I am looking for in an overnight.
Overall, OK but I hope that I do not get stuck in the mud tomorrow...

Spent one night at this park. This park was clean. The only negative with the park is that the train track is nearby (train blew whistle several times during the night). Walmart is next door so that makes it handy to walk next door for a few supplies. Also, we were given 2 wifi codes to use, but could not get the codes to work.
The park is clean and well taken care of by the owners. We did not use the restroom facilities so not sure about the shower, etc. We only stayed one night. We did not disconnect our toad so not sure about local restaurants and attractions. Check in was easy and the owner was very friendly.

We were traveling and in search of dumping our sewer waters. Thanks to these website we was able to get our issues resolved.
Great staff and mostly kindly and friendly.
Thank you
Greg
We stayed here 1 night on our way thru the area. We are a 46" 5th wheel pulled by a semi tractor, and the owner accommodated us with a large, pull-thru site at the end of a row. Several other big-rig friendly sites in that section. Full hookups, decent cell service, clean and spacious. Very well kept.

We stopped one night traveling from Colorado to Galveston. This was an easy on/off. There's a Walmart one block from the premise. Based on the A Fame office, we presume this park was previously a KOA facility. The sites are unpaved yet level. Lots of long term residents. Discounts honored - AAA, Good Sam, Military and AARP.
Full hook ups and cable TV included.

The park was perfect for a quick overnight stay. All hook-ups worked properly and our site was perfectly level. The ONLY reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because the young lady that checked us in couldn't be bothered for a smile, a 'hello', a look in the eye, or a 'thank you for staying here.' She said her check-in schpiel so fast while looking down that I had to ask her to repeat much of it. I also couldn't understand what she was saying with her hoodie pulled up over her head and most of her face. Real welcoming. It was a hundred degrees outside. Who wears a hoodie pulled up over their face and head in this heat? We travel this route once a year and would've probably stayed here again because it was so nice, but we believe that we vote with our dollars, so we will most likely be staying elsewhere in the future.

Very nice campground, Clean, nice lots, but the staff is what made the place. I had an injury there (no fault of the campground), and the staff responded immediately. They were kind, and understanding. The young daughter was so helpful to me and I really appreciated their help. On top of that though the park was very enjoyable, and had the best dog run

Eh, I’d rather have just pulled into a rest stop and ran the generator. Train right next door with hourly LOUD train whistle blowing. Basically sharing the parking lot with Walmart. Easy access from Hwy 287 and friendly lady that took our reservation over the phone. Small old playground and summer pool but it was closed up so cannot comment on quality of the pool.
