Ortega Adobe Historic Residence

Built in 1857, this small adobe is typical of the homes ordinary people lived in, which are very different from the homes of the wealthy (such as the Olivas Adobe).  It is the only one left standing from the many that once lined Main Street.Of particular interest are the places where the adobe is peeled back to expose the structural materials beneath.
