The Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project preserves petroglyphs on Mesa Prieta through the education of the local community and recording of over 75,000 images
This is one of the richest sources and concentrations of native petroglyphs from multiple eras. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Origin at Rancho de San Juan is also developing trails to some petroglyphs on their property, and you can also see Ra Paulette's Windows of the Earth cave sanctuary with a reservation for a docent led tour! See documentary CaveDigger that was up for an Academy Award! OriginNewMexico.com
