Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 28, 2020This is a great camp ground. Right overseeing the Flaming Gorge. Was just a stop on the way home but would definitely come back here for a longer stay. Watch out for high winds in June. Got a bit scary last night. 😂 Cellular service very spotty.

We stayed 1 night in this campground, in 2014 when my husband was running across the country. It was a really awesome place, and I was searching for it in order to repeat the process. I don't remember what we paid, but there was an incredible view. We were able to back our 27' class C in and really enjoy. Not sure about the 40' we have now, but would definitely return here!

Great camping area. Not too many pull thru sites or ones for longer rigs: over24 ft.
Mellow 2 mile hike across the hiway from campground. Verizon cell works on extended network.

Spent a few nights here over labor day. Close to Flaming Gorge dam for the tour and great fishing. RV cleaning station right at the entrance if needed. lots of spots. Easy access and a fairly level spot with a table and fire ring. This is a dry camp spot but that's fine. Great sunsets Gas station right up the road. Some sites are along the main road as was ours, but the traffic was light an unheard overnight.

There are 3 loops in this campground, some are reservations only and others are first come first serve. We stayed in the top loop A, forest views B & C some had views of the Flaming Gorge.
There are a few big sites but no shade, during the day it got abit hot. Outside loops have more trees, sites have good space between sites.
During the week it’s so nice and quiet, but as soon as Thursday rolls around all the sites are reserved for the weekend, loud and busy, There is a bit of road noise but dies at night.
There are great bathrooms with flush toilets, dump station and fresh water. Super nice camp host.
The Flaming Gorge visitor center is closed due to Covid no tours.

We camped here Aug. 30-Sept.1. My wife and I didn’t have reservations. We pulled into the campground and stopped at the bulletin board, grabbed a envelope and checked out the sites. This campground have 3 loops. We camped in loop A site 82. This campground was quiet and clean. We were only going to stay one night but enjoyed the campground, so we stayed another night. There’s water and a dump station “that you have to pay for if you want to dump” but no electricity available at this campground. There are restrooms. We didn’t check them out. If it’s anything like the campground I would say it’s clean.
