“easy to follow on bike, or hike, or horseback”

This trail is open to hiking, horseback riding and mountain bikes. This trail follows an old closed road and is easy to follow. Martin Prairie is a very pretty meadow. This is a good take off point to get to the Copple Butte Trail #3052. This trail offers good mountain biking for both beginning and advanced riders. It takes you into a road closed area so wildlife viewing is excellent. Directions from Ukiah: Travel southeast out of Ukiah along Forest Road #52 for 26 miles. Turn south onto Forest Road #5225; continue for about 5 miles to the trail marker.
