SR 31 Roadside Picnic Area

January 8th, 2019: RVer report confirms multiple reports from Nov 2011 & earlier, & info provided by TX DOT. State of Texas allows parking for up to 24 hours is allowed at Roadside Picnic areas unless there is signage to the contrary. No such signage reported here. Area is well off highway, with entrances from SR 31 and from Old Chandler Hwy. Many shade trees, possible clearance issues. Room for perhaps 2 - 4 rigs. Sheltered picnic tables, trash barrels; no other known amenities.
