Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on February 13, 2024They have camping, fishing, swimming, boat ramps, picnic tables, and trash cans. There is a 10 day limit on camping in a 30 day period. The Park police will stop and check you in. The roads are dirt and look like its big rig ready. I stayed in a 25 Class C and a Toad, and had no problems getting in or out.
I was here over memorial day weekend, so there was more activity than normal.

Police officer will check you in and ask for ID for permit - free. Nice little shaded area right off the boat ramp parking lot with roughly 10 sites. Back right up to the water for most sites. We were the only campers last night. Most sites are pretty level. Only 10-15 min off the interstate. Clean and well kept area. Lots of open space for the kids or pets to roam.

This was an excellent choice after 13 hour drive. Parked in trailer lot for boats next to the water. Woke up to birds and a beautiful sunrise. Would recommend for a couple day fishing trip. Left at 7 am with one boat at the launch.

Within 5 miles from Hwy 30. Lots of room. Only one other rig a big 5th wheel. Just watch the trees. Right on the water and a great sunset.

What a great place! Quiet, no hook ups, picnic tables are available, fire pits. And a view to die for. Check out my pics!

Pulled up, there was a police officer so I stopped to ask about camping. He pointed me to a half dozen spots, took my license and checked me in, very easy deal. We camped right on the lake with ducks and geese and frogs, priceless.

Personally I prefer unofficial dispersed camping, secret isolated places in the woods as opposed to this very organized and popular spot, but still, it’s really really nice. My only real complaint is that a times there’s quite a bit of mosquitoes and gnats.

Place was incredible. If you're traveling in or out of Texas on I-30 and need a place to camp, this is the spot. I've paid for campsites that were nowhere near as nice as this. And I had the entire place to myself. Well done Titus County.

Just about 5 minutes from the town. The town itself looked nice and has anything you need. The police come by with a registration card. It’s such a pretty area you’ll probably be tempted to stay longer if you only planned tj stay one night.
