“WWII memorial...”
Visit an internment site of Japanese Americans during World War II. From 1943, Tule Lake Segregation Center operated primarily as the site designated to warehouse inmates who were deemed a threat to the authorities charged with maintaining order in the ten War Relocation Centers. The 'bad and disloyal' were duly removed from the 'bad but loyal' and segregated at Tule Lake.
Okay so maybe I was in the wrong place but it looks nothing like the photo above, infact all that remains from what I saw was a couple buildings, not really worth it. There are however some awesome lava caves to go explore near by! which I do suggest highly.
EDIT: THey changed the photo, which is a much more accurate representation of what the place really is.
