“Motel and historical hot spring bath house”
La Paloma is located in the historical district of Truth or Consequences. We operate one of the three bath houses that provide private soaking in free flowing pools. Our water flows up directly from the source through the ground into our five rock-bottomed pools. No pumping or pipes are necessary! La Paloma, formerly Marshall Hot Springs, was the first car park in T or C. The rooms were constructed for housing for the workers building the dam at Elephant Butte Lake. The dam was completed in 1922 and the “cabins” were then moved to the present site. Continuing renovation and upgrades have been made over the years to provide a comfortable homey setting for guests. Please come and visit this historic site even if you choose to stay or soak elsewhere. Our goal is to provide a quiet and serene space to escape from the demands of every day life. Stop in, take a deep breath, and relax! Generous soaking time is included in overnight stays. The bath house is open to the public from 10 am until 10 pm seven days a week.
La Paloma is a bit more chic than Riverbend Hot Springs, and a little more pricey. The springs are super clean and they provide spa services such as Reiki and massage
A half hour soak is $6 per person; full-hour soaks are $10 per person.
