Cawthon Motel and Campground

It is what it is, old, tight spots, a lot of permanent old campers and trailers,, BUT,, nice views of the mountains, away from I25 so it is quiet, it has full hookups, year round, take passport America 1 night, have daily $35, weekly $215, or monthly $495, conveniently located from downtown and the other end with a walmart,, WiFi doesn’t work properly but good Verizon service,

Arrived after hours with phone-in reservation. Old park, but ok for a night. Laundry was clean. I had no clue what the WiFi code was OR restroom code. (No info left for me) TV Cable needed adapter so that was unusable. Water & electric for $17.50 with Passport America was a fair deal. At $35, it was downright unwelcoming.

A good location that overlooks the local golf course. Very friendly staff. Much of the park is occupied by full timers. Kind of junky too. We had FHU, but they were very tired and many of them had been knocked over and needed to be repaired. WiFi didn’t work. Cable tv was nice. All sites are gravel. Sites 28-30 aren’t very level. Our automatic levelers wouldn’t level so had to find a rock and drive up on it to trick our levelers. It wasn’t a big deal, but it was an inconvenience. Didn’t bother with the bath house. It was a good value at $35
