You will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Mississippi woods, with the sounds of doves and owls at night. The lonely but distinct cry of the midnight train can sometimes be heard. We treat our guests like family; you will be welcomed with true southern hospitality by owners that are active members of the RV'ing community.Exercising an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 concerns, we are installing no-touch towel and soap dispensers in our restrooms and thoroughly sanitizing the contact areas twice a day. Additionally, we sanitize the RV hook-ups after each guest departs. The nearby city of Meridian offers a new shopping mall, golf courses, bowling, restaurants, theater, and many historical attractions. Casino gambling in Philadelphia, MS is within an hour's drive.Driving distances from our location are: Jackson, MS 1 ¼ hours; Biloxi, MS 3 hours; New Orleans, LA 3 ½ hours; Birmingham, AL 2 hours.
After 5 hours on the road and ready to relax we arrived at our site to a pressure washer going nonstop for a hour. The bathrooms were okay but showers were dark.
Firewood to expensive $6.50 bundle.
This is an OK stop for an overnight stay and maybe a dip in their pool. The slide that they promote is not functioning, the store is not stocked, and this is a super small KOA. Pool is nice and clean. Bathrooms are pretty clean for being old.
We stayed in a cabin for a night. Loved it! Cabin was clean, no odors, AC nice and cold. Bathrooms are super nice! Great showers with hot water and plenty of dry area to get dressed. Lots of counter space and were very clean. We enjoyed the pool. They have a 3 foot end which was great for our son so he could easily play. We didn't try the slide but people were using it. The playground area is all sandy and they provided sand toys. All the kids were in the sand digging and making castles. The airplane seesaw was a big hit! The store had some basics (and small propane bottles for our grill that we forgot to grab), but there is a gas station a few miles away for anything else. We were really pleased with our stay and if in the area I would definitely come back. I hope the next KOAs on our trip are as nice.
Stayed for a week and no complaints! It was very well maintained and staff was very nice. We were out of season for the pool/slide but it looked amazing.
Nice bathrooms! Great for an overnight stay. Pool was nice and we really appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms after being on the road.
Great over night stop. Staff is friendly and campsite is rustic and clean. Bathrooms are brand new and clean! Would definitely come back.
