Miller's Rest Area

September 1st, 2021: RVer report confirms numerous reports from June 209 & earlier, & info provided by NV DOT. Overnight RV Parking is allowed. State of NV allows parking in Rest Areas for up to 18 hours. Park in one of 2 large gravel lots, one at E end & one at W end of loop. June 2019 RVer recommends the W area, as it's more spacious. Trucks not permitted in this rest area; they park across highway. Very quiet, with low level of lighting. Flush toilets, trees, picnic tables. Dump station & potable water near rest area exit, but closed/shut off seasonally when freezing is likely; due to elevation of ~ 5800 ft, this can be as early as October. Can be very cold at night, especially in winter.
