Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on July 06, 2023As you wander north, or south, on the Pacific Coast Scenic Highway, you'll appreciate the location of this little park. The staff is friendly and our reservation was waiting for us when we arrived. This park is small but the spaces are generous enough for our large motor home. Its easy to get into/out of and the roads are well laid out. We were pleased to find recycling right in the park and a large, well stocked grocery store is only five minutes up the road.
There were a couple of units that appeared to be 'long term' but they were well kept and clean. There is a lot to do in this area and this park is centrally located. You are only a few minutes from beaches, mountains and lighthouses.
It is located right on Hwy 101 so there is a bit of road noise.

Ditto everything in the other review especially location ... Tillamook Cheese Factory, Blue Heron French Cheese Company, Larimer Quilt &Textile Museum all minutes away as well as several quilt stores. Only downside was that plumbing failed in both bathrooms and laundry room ... they brought in a porta-potty ... no ETA on repair.

This was a nice, clean campground with friendly staff, located off Hwy 101 between Tillamook and Garibaldi. My $42 daily rate reflects a $294 weekly rate.
Most sites would have been excellent, but site 8 was right at a bend in the campground road with a triangular-shaped piece of grass, and I could not put my awning out because it would have extended into the road, with a risk of being hit by a passing RV. I could not move my trailer further forward in the site to avoid this, as the sewer connection was way back at the end of the site, and I could only just reach it with all 20 ft of my hose. There was constant road noise from Hwy 101.
Verizon 4G was available occasionally at up to 5 Mbps download speed, but most of the time it was unusable. There were two campground wifi systems. Although I could connect to the password-secured one, I never got a usable signal. The unsecured one worked only intermittently.

Our needs are few; a space big enough for our 45 feet coach and car, reasonably level, there are options for walking the dogs, there are no aggressive dogs off-leash, 50A full-hookups, space appropriate for the location, enough cell data. This campground delivers on all those items.
Positives: Great location near interesting places to visit, easy access. During the 2021 heat dome where the Willamette Valley was 115F, it was 90F here and is more typically in the 65-75F range during the summer. It's a smallish campground, but they have done a good job of fitting everyone in and keeping the internal roads easy to navigate. There is a beautiful walk right across the road, although it's a 1-minute drive, Kilchis Point, that has pathways through the forest and out to the bay. So far I've found the Tillamook area to have less than ideal campgrounds, so this is a standout and I'll visit again. They do a nice job of maintaining the grounds and have plenty of flowers. Online booking with site picking.
Negatives; It is close to the road so with the doors open or sitting outside you will hear cars and trucks. Personally, I didn't find it objectionable. The tent sites nearer the road are probably a bit louder. The spacing is typical of a destination location, and there are several campgrounds in the area with much tighter spacing. We have a great cell data setup with multiple carriers and were able to carry on 2 video conference calls at the same time with no problems, single-carrier systems may struggle at times. One day we had no connection on our T-Mobile cell phones.
Overall a good stop in a very nice area of the Oregon coastline.

Park is ok, but not the best for longer than an overnight. Too close to US101 but conveniently close to Tillamook and all it has to offer. Consequently we didn't spend much time outside at our site but ventured to all the sites such as the Cheese factory.

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site 8 for 4 days in mid September. The CG is relatively small, and although the sites fairly closely spaced but not right on top of each other, they are angled such that you’re not looking in each others’ windows. The GC itself is very quiet, but there is a fair bit of road noise from US-101, which runs right next to the CG. There is a grassy dog area, along with a mowed path between their wall/fence and 101. AT&T coverage was fair, ranging from 1-2 bars of LTE with speeds up to 2 MB/s. The CG WiFi was descent, with speeds up to 1.2 MB/s. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were 11 OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.

If you don't mind the highway noise, it's a good rv park. Well maintained, with flowers and a nice little dog area. The yurts here seem to be popular. All the hookups worked for us and the wifi was even decent. Cell service was a little weak. Quiet clientele and the owners seemed nice. If you're interested in tent camping, there's a really pretty county campground up the road. Wouldn't take our rig up there, but for dry camping with a small riig or tents it would be great.

We stayed there 2 nights in RV Site 1. The kids loved the little playground where there were swings and room to play frisbee. Starlink worked great there (download speeds up to 100Mbps!), and everyone seemed really friendly (other RVers and the staff. There are only 2 showers which are quarter operated (1 quarter for 3 minutes), but the pay are hot and have decent pressure. Just takes time depending on when you go. The bathrooms were kept clean, and they have one regular washer ($1.25) and one larger washer ($1.50) and two dryers ($1), all quarter operated.
There is a fair amount of road noise, and site 1 is right next to the dump station, so you have rigs stopping by all morning. Cell service is not great, but that’s like that everywhere in Tillamook. Had no problems with the 30 amp power, water or sewage which had a good screw in kind of pipe that fits tightly with the clear Camco elbow.
The park is super close to the Tillamook Creamery and a Fred Meyer for groceries (even organics) and stuff. The other direction, the Fish Peddler has great clam chowder and a seafood marker (we went in July, but no live crab, just already cooked Dungeness, but it was still delicious.

The campground is decent gravel sites with sufficient room. It is right on US101 so there is road noise. I could not get either 30amp or 50 amp outlets to work. Camp host said they have had others complain but electricians have been out and said everything is fine. I was offered a refund and left. I held off writing this review to be sure my equipment wasn’t at fault. At next campground, I had no issues.

This park was decent for an overnight stay but nothing spectacular. The sites were easy to get in and out of, possibly because of the paucity of landscaping. The few shrub like trees near the yurts are in the process of dying. We had no issues with electric hookup but did not use any other park facilities. The wifi was mediocre. I asked for a noon checkout but was denied, being told people are arriving at 10 and 11 to check in, despite the published 4pm check in time. To me that’s the fault of the incoming guest, not the departing guest, and they should be the ones denied, but we left at 11 as instructed. There was definitely constant road noise which would have been annoying except for the fact that we used fans to drown it out. The grounds were clean and safe with kids riding around on bikes and people walking dogs. Convenient to town and visiting Tillamook Creamery. Overall an acceptable, if dull, place to spend a night.
