Leisure Mountain RV Park

Easy sport to drive up to from I-40. My space #77 was a drive through. I have a 24’ RV and I tow my car. Spaces #76 and #77 on the top tier where big enough to accommodate any size rig. The place is all gravel with some small potholes but the sites where pretty level.
As a solo female traveler I felt safe there. I hiked every day with my dog in the big park right behind where I was parked, beautiful up there.
Even though the RV park is right off I-40 it was pleasantly quiet. The night sky is beautiful here and I Slept great.
The temp is at least 10 degrees cooler than Albuquerque even though it’s not that far. That whole area is also a lot greener.
Hookups were conveniently accessible. It has a laundry room with a couple of washers and dryers which I took advantage of and a pool table which I did not.
There’s a supermarket on 14 not too far from the park and a Sprouts on 333 going towards Aburqueque. There are restaurants and a pub near by too.

I called and left a VM and they quickly responded with a text that they no longer take overnight guests.

We had a late arrival and our sit had no power. We had to plug into the next site’s pole. No answer from office phone for help. Weeds all over grown around the power pole as well. Pretty unkept. Not worth the money.
