Had trouble finding the entrance, even though right off I-40. Drive through site was convenient, but incredibly close to other trailers. Water on opposite side of RV but had horrible water pressure. Had to do without. Several cars leaving early in the morning from more permanent sites. Trailer next to me could not put out his slides. We had booked 2 nights, but left early after 1 night, not the "resort" we were expecting. C2C, so was free except for "resort fee" of $7.

The office did not enforce some rules as outlined on the pamphlet. No BBQ grills but some sites had them out on tables.
Not much activities in this town, but it is a great place to unwind for a couple days

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting friends in Albuquerque. It's east of ABQ, over 1000-feet higher in the mountains, making it 10 degrees cooler than the city. In the summer this would likely be a big help with the desert heat, but we got snow during our stay in May 2019. With Escapees discount it was less than half the price of the RV park we previously stayed at (on the west side of ABQ) but Hidden Valley was a longer drive to the city each day. It was nice having actual trees for scenery instead of desert shrubs. Cell service worked fine (sorry, I didn't take notes on quality), there's a decent size fenced dog park, and a few paths/dirt roads that were nice for longer dog walks. Unfortunately our site was awful for several reasons. It was very narrow, so during our stay our passenger side (i.e. camping side) slide-outs were literally within inches of our neighbors slide-outs, leaving us no "camping space" at all, and hardly any room to walk between our rigs. We had more space on our driver's side, but due to a tree there we couldn't move over at all. Some other sites were very wide, while others were even narrower than ours. The campground is dirt/clay, not gravel, so each time it rained (or snowed) the entire campground turned into thick sticky mud which stayed wet for days. This made dog walks particularly messy, and also left deep tire ruts in the roads and sites whenever someone drove through. We may stay here again, but probably only if it's summer and we need to get away from the heat, or if we really need to save some money. I think if we had a better site and less mud, we'd have enjoyed our stay more.

This is not an RV resort, but it is a nice RV park. Kids will love the pool and playground
, adults will like the clean bathrooms and laundry and the rates.
Only negative is the sites are small, but they are building new sites to be more big rig friendly

As with most rv parks on the East side of Albequerque it is on a hillside. Sites are stairstepped but level, roads and sites are gravel and utilities work. While a bit tight, you can get around with a big rig.
Sites vary from narrow to REALLY narrow. Our sides extended to edge of site on both sides. A tall power panel restricted where we could open slides.
Staff is friendly and proximity to Rt 66 good.

Poor access, on top of each other, sent to site that already had a camper there, muddy, asked staff things to do in the area and he said “nothing, it’s the off season”, it’s mid August.

Where to begin. Entering the park is a narrow rock lined drive beside the gas station. Just hope no one is trying to exit while you're entering. You have to disconnect your tow vehicle by the office if your going to the sites on the upper level. I booked through coast to coast which is normally $10 plus some tax, electric or other minimal fee, here I was told $25 a night plus $6 for electric. so $41 per night. The desk staff said I hate doing coast to coast people.
Upon check in I asked if my packages had arrived, he told me "I don't work for the post office!"
Sites on the upper part are backed up end to end and "tiny". our electric hookup was on the passenger side and water and sewer were on the drivers side.
