Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on January 01, 2020We've stayed at this beautiful facility many times over the last two years because we have family nearby. While it is a very popular, very nice park, it is not without its faults. If you have a tall rig with multiple slide-outs be very aware of tree branches. While the office indicates that they will send someone to prune them for you (which I have never done - we know which sites avoid the issue), a park of this caliber should be anticipating maintenance issues like this. (Be advised that afternoon winds will move those branches considerably.) The focus seems to be on upgrading more sites to the expensive, premium sites. While these sites are nice, some really nice, what you really gain is a picnic table, which is lacking at the other sites. Biggest issue I have with the park is the lack of enforcement of quiet hours, which are some of the very shortest ever. While the park is heavily patrolled, excessively boisterous behavior is tolerated. Weekends can be a problem. The office will tell you that with a phone call, security will address the issue. That was not the case for one of neighbors, who had a repeatedly bad experience with another of their neighbors that I witnessed on the second night (& had to intervene). Security failed to respond when contacted either night. They did drive by and ignore the noise, however at around midnight. Perhaps this is why so many RV'ers spend Sunday thru Wednesday night in the park then move to the free RV parking lot near the gas station. More likely it is that Passport America is available for some sites during the weekdays. The park is very convenient to Temecula's many fine boutique wineries. A free shuttle is available to the casino the park exists for. Recently a non-smoking area in the casino has been added. While we do not gamble, we always enjoy at least one dinner at Kelsey's which offers adult beverages in a casual dining atmosphere.
The park itself is 5 star. Enforcement of rules is 1 star. And do be advised that site prices vary considerably and are hugely inflated over many holidays.

This park continues to be a model of contradictions. It was recently awarded the best RV park in the U.S. by Motorhome magazine . . . Not even close. For inland So Cal . . . Maybe. First issue is that you can reserve specific sites. Ever wonder why most parks won't guarantee you a specific site? It's so others won't have to move a couple of different times during an extended stay! We planned far enough ahead to avoid this, but I talked to at least 3 RV'ers who were very unhappy about it. These were experienced RV'ers who have visited the truly top echelon RV resorts. Second issue is the enforcement of provided rules. Security is constantly patrolling. I was told by another RV'er, who was reprimanded for a violation, that security reports violations to the office, who then give you a written warning the next day. In the past, the office clearly said that security was to be called to enforce the rules. Change of policy or a shell game? All in all, the park is a great choice, but it truly seems as though management has no RV'ing experience. This visit, the very biggest grip, voiced by people all over the park, was the ongoing, round the clock noise from the massive construction going on all around the resort. We always use white noise, so it really wasn't an issue for us, but almost everyone I talked to brought it up. Finally, I happened to see a 45' DP towing a big enclosed trailer, turn way too early to get to the park. The turn is located just before the gas station. If you miss it, take the right hand turn just past the gas station. The park is not the best in the U.S., but with enforcement of the rules & management familiar with the nuisances of RV'ers, it certainly has potential.

We stayed here two nights before a scheduled reservation in San Diego. Our price reflects a AAA discount. The best thing about this park is that they actually have wifi that works and works well! At all hours! With a pretty full park! That seems pretty amazing to me. Otherwise it is a typical upscale RV park. Sites are concrete, big and nice and level. I saw a guy with a campfire going at his site, he must have a portable pit, so this must be allowed? As others have said, there is lots of construction noise due to the new hotel going up - and it goes until pretty late at night. No discounts for this, but they did have ear plugs in the office. Confusing to get in here right now. Follow the electronic signs (which are also kind of confusing) to Oak Avenue, but be aware Oak Avenue doesn't appear on Google maps yet. I think it is called Wolf Creek road on the other side of the street. Lots of nice hiking at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve.

We enjoyed our short stay at Pechanga RV Resort. Our rate reflects the Passport America discount which is only available Sunday through Thursday (a great deal for Southern California).
The park is easy to access, well maintained and now, with the new hotel complete it is quiet. There is a month long project to redo the pool house - but this is minimal daytime noise.
The park recently doubled in size and includes many long pull-through sites. Sites have a grass section, are concrete, and fairly level. Maintenance of the park is amazing with garbage cans everywhere that I swear must be emptied 3 times a day.
The pool and spas are clean, warm and very nice. The laundry room is also clean, well maintained and reasonably priced ($1.50 per load).
We used the park wi-fi for software updates and a little bit of streaming. The park also has cable available to the sites.
Google will take you to the old registration building and finding the new building is a bit confusing. Pass the gas station/Pechanga Resort Drive and enter on the next road. Go straight through the roundabout (currently the left-hand lane which is market exit). The registration building will be located ahead on your right. At this time, there is no identification on the building at all. The large RV parking spaces in front are the only hint that it is RV registration.
There are plenty of large lots to turn around in, unhook tow cars are wait until check-in time.
Check-in is a 2 pm and they are strict about it. If your space is available for $10 you can check-in early. We found it easier to park in the overflow lot and wait until check-in time (and spend our $10 on a couple of beers).
Upon check-in, you will also pay a $10 deposit for a key card to access the laundry room and pool. We loved the spa and had no issue getting our deposit back upon departure.
Easy RV access for propane and diesel fueling and an amazing convenience/taco stand inside the gas station located on the Pechanga property. Thankfully I missed the iced coffee section until our departure.
We loved the golf club restaurant Journeys, which has a yummy happy hour with great prices and an even better deck and view. Also, don't miss a trip to Old Town, we enjoyed Garage Brewing and The Thompson & Twain Speakeasy.

This park is easy to access from I15, check in was simple and friendly. We stayed here for 3 nights with our good sam membership in a pull thru site, then we went to the overflow parking lot for 1 night so we could come back and use our PA discount. We didnt know they give PA discount if you choose a back in site. There are about 5 different rates; some can be quite expensive.
The park is clean with decent space and we were able to fit our 41 ft fifth wheel in without trouble. The restaurants are all great and the pool was warm in January. There is a sports park across the road with a great bike path.

We have mixed feelings about this park.
First off when I called to reserve a spot I was told they only had Presidential Pull-thru's available, and I couldn't use my PA discount on those special sites. The woman then told me that these sites were fenced, grassy with a covered picnic table, a BBQ that they supply the gas for and that it was a much larger site altogether so it was worth double the price. (we have a dog and thought the fenced area would be so nice for her). Well friends of ours were already booked- so we went for it (it was Valentines Day and we would splurge). This was a big expense- more costly than any other rv park in this country that we have stayed in so far (we are full timers and have been in 18 states so far) and we have been to some very swanky rv parks. This one is nice, but not near as nice as some we have been in.
When we arrived the office folks were nice and helpful. Off we went to K-1 our fancy site. When we got there we were terribly disappointed. The only thing special about this site was it was on the end. Someone had had a party before us and were apparently smokers as there was party trash and cigarette butts all over our site. The fence was a joke. There was a short bit of fencing that lined the curve in the road on the end- and there was NO grass on our social side. There was bark and bushes. The covered picnic table was slatted (and it rained.... no poured) the whole time we were there- so we couldn't even use it. Our BBQ grill door was broken and the gas was empty. Well it was pouring so I guess we weren't going to use it anyway. Let's just say this wasn't very Presidential. I can see upping the price a bit because it is an end site- but charging for a Presidential site is robbery. Since there are no hosts in the park I guess no one checks the sites after people leave~ so I spent 30 minutes picking up all the trash and cig butts and put them in a large ziplock. I took it to the office and let the ladies know we were disappointed in our site and with the trash- it didn't feel very Presidential. A short while later one of the office staff came over with 2 free casino buffet coupons (I don't do buffets) but it was a nice gesture I guess.
We did have to call security once (no hosts-office was closed) it was a noise issue and it was after 10pm. I figure if my RV is 7 sites away from you, it's pouring rain and my TV was up as loud as it could go and we could STILL hear and feel your Bass- it's way to loud. Security from the casino came very promptly and were nice and professional and the issue was handled.
There are some very nice things we liked about the park so besides paying way too much for our specific site- we did enjoy many other things:
Great cell signal
Plenty of TV stations found on our antennae (their free cable was limited and only in Analog)
We used the free shuttle to the casino almost every day (we tipped the driver a few bucks every time we used the ride) It was nice to have. We enjoyed all the restaurants, bars etc. The casino gambling we weren't too successful at!
The location is great for wineries and Old Temecula.
The site was paved and level.
We may or may not stay here again- but I can tell you it will be in a basic site (which all looked decent- even the back ins) and not in any they called "upgraded" as we would have been just as happy in one of those.

This resort is great. Friendly staff in the office, easy to navigate park. Far enough from road that noise is minimal. All sites are full concrete. Grass between sites is well maintained. Hook ups in good condition. I stayed during the Christmas holiday and was very comfortable. Nice that the casino is a 5 minute walk but there is also a free shuttle to give a lift. The casino has a gas station and convenience store adjacent to the RV park for easy fueling. Temecula is a nice suburban town. Walmart nearby.

We've stayed here a handful of times over the last couple of years and have always had a good experience. Pechanga is part of Passport America, which is the rate I listed above. You get half off Sunday thru Wednesday nights most of the year on their deluxe back-in sites. If you're going to stay for 3 or more weeknights, I recommend signing up for PA. The deluxe back-in sites are their smallest sites, but are still huge -- very long, very wide, very easy to back into. The regular price is definitely higher than we prefer to pay, but if we stay for a week and get four nights at $30, it averages out to a decent rate. I honestly don't think any of the more expensive sites are necessary, unless you are staying with friends -- then the buddy sites (where you share a front yard) would be nice.
The entire property is well maintained and there is always staff cleaning the bathrooms, laundry rooms, pool, etc. As stated, the sites are huge, with a grassy yard separating you from your neighbors and a tall hedge at the back of the site that offers privacy. The laundry room is rarely busy, as I think most people that stay here are pretty local and come for a little staycation, so they don't need to do laundry at the park. It's one of the few places we've stayed where you don't find 'out of order' on the machines. The pool is nice and the restrooms are very modern and clean.
There's a shuttle that you can call to take you over to the casino, but the walk isn't that long. The casino is probably the nicest I've seen outside of Vegas and there are multiple restaurants that are decent. There's also a golf course, spa, and gas station onsite.
Old Town Temecula is less than a 10-minute drive and the wineries are a 15-20 minute drive.
Weekends get busy, especially holiday weekends, so it can be little loud at times. During one of our stays, there was a disturbance with a gentleman that was a little too intoxicated, and tribal police showed up immediately to handle it.

Their website shows closed still. Great place to camp. Free shuttle from your campsite to the casino.
It was a nice campground but overpriced. Sites where level. It wasn’t just a parking lot and had a lot of very clean amenities. Staff were a little touchy. We stayed in January before the virus hit
