“rest and relax with nature”
This is a unique park with two seasonal ponds stocked with largemouth bass and catfish. Crappie and bluegill are other fish species. The campground is open year-round and offers spacious, private sites with oak trees and a view of Brite Valley. A bonus is the hiking trails in the park. The elevation is 5,000 feet. Although this area is known for being windy, this campground is somewhat sheltered from the wind. There are 46 sites for RVs, including 37 sites with full hookups; nearly half are pull-through. Tents are allowed only in sites without hookups. Picnic tables and fire pits are provided. Restroom with flush toilets and showers (seasonal), dump station, coin laundry, Wi-Fi, propane, and two stocked fishing ponds are available. Small leashed pets are permitted, with certain restrictions. Drive on Highway 58 to Tehachapi and Exit 148 for Tehachapi/Highway 202. Take that exit to Tucker Road. Turn right and drive south one mile to Highway 202/Valley Boulevard. Turn right (west) and drive four miles to Banducci Road. Turn left and drive 0.75 mile to Arosa Road. Turn left and drive 1.7 miles to the park at 18061 Arosa Road.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 30, 2017I was surprised how nice this place was. Definitely get the premium. It was like camping out on the set of Little House on the Prairie. Very pretty and remote. Campsite are well spaced.
We have been here now for about 10 days. It is very quiet at the end of a dead end road. Absolutely no road noise. Lots of wild life. Laundry room and internet is excellent, but has to be purchased separately. Friendly manager. Most campers seem to be permanent. At the moment there are only 2 full hook up sites available and one is very short.
This is a very cool little spot, in the hills surrounded by mountains in a neighborhood called Alpine. The ranch has a lot of land and there is some hiking into the more secluded areas of the grounds. There aren't many spots so I can see this place being busy and full. Most of the people seem to be full time residents. You have to call Valerie to get any assistance, they are never in the office.
Access: The park is easily accessible, however the roads to get into the actual sites seem a little challenging though we made it in and so have others....we are almost 40' long.
Location: Incredibly beautiful area, nestled away in a quiet neighborhood. Really stunning.
Cleanliness: Clean grounds, main office/laundry is a little run down looking but the machines are pretty new. Just FYI they don't have a change machine, so make sure you have plenty of quarters before you do any laundry. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Trash is behind the laundry room in a trailer, off the loop if you need to dump.
Site Quality: Paved sites are mostly level, with water, electric and sewer, there is some debris from light posts that look to have been driven over/hit etc and some random parts with astroturf, but it is windy and if rainy then its muddy so those are actually nice to have.
Noise: Only nature and neighbors, whom I rarely ever hear except maybe during the day.
Gas stations and grocery are located within 10 minutes, if that. Old Towne Pizza is pretty good and close to the campground and you can also get change for laundry there. Further into town Albertsons is pretty nice but seems very busy most of the time and somewhat expensive though I am new to California. There is a Stater Brothers grocery in Mohave which is about 25 min away and maybe was a little cheaper...but probably not worth the farther drive. There is a redbox inside Albertsons so you can rent movies and a Baskin Robbins in the same shopping center for those who like that sort of thing (who doesn't like ice cream). Treasure Trove is a very cute little art supply place, with classes and local wares, the ladies who work there are very familiar with Tehachapi and can answer questions about the little town. Would NOT recommend the Village Grill, seemed like cafeteria food which would have been ok but over priced for what it was. We are actually still here so maybe we will try the BBQ place in town....
I accidentally left bars under the Verizon cell service, it should have been AT&T. I don't know how to remove the bars...

This park is a disaster. Their website promised a small lovely lake, places for us to hike with our dogs, plenty of wide open space and rolling verdant hills. The only thing rolling was us right out of the park when we were unable to find a spot. The place was packed with wall to wall (long term?) campers. We called the manager about possible overflow camping (we had been on the road all day and were exhausted) and were told the park was mostly closed because it was "seasonal" - whatever that means. Campers beware, and make sure to call ahead to see if the "seasonal" park is open.
