Mac Dill Motel

I have stayed here with my mother for over a year, and we have personally observed the changes the owners have been making for the better over that time. Many of the rooms have been recently renovated, those that haven't had their renovations completed, have been freshed up with new paint and fittings. There are new bathrooms, and brand new televisions. The WiFi is more reliable, and reaches all rooms. Several of the larger rooms have newer half-fridges instead of the usual tiny micro fridges.
The atmosphere has been cleaned up to the point that most of the weekly renters are families with children. Management is fairly strict, but all the better to keep the place safe.
The daily and weekly rates are consistently some of the lowest in town, even at peak holidays.
All in all, Macdill Motel is probably the best low rate choice in South Tampa.
